I was playing with my personal Garmin automotive GPS and noticed that it kept pointing to the house across the street. I broke out my Garmin Topo with 6 year old maps and it showed me exactly where I am supposed to be.
In the navigation window you have choices of which settings you want to use. We in the County Search and Rescue use UTM and NAD 27. It seems this is the most accurate for us. It has to do with the dates of the maps. Hope it helps.

I tried the TOR browser in onion (I think) Tried to access the Free For thing. Never ever got anywhere in that arena. Not worth the time and confusion IMO.

Guy showed up at my door about a month after I sent in the basics... Name, Address, Number living here. He said I missed a couple things, so he started down the list name, address, number living here... he asked a couple more that were on the form and got a "that would be none of the governments business". He asked why I would not give the rest of the information, to which I relied; That Is None Of The Governments Business. He said, thank you for your time and left. I wasn't so polite. I asked him how many NO TRESPASSING signs he passed on his way in. He said his supervisor said that it was ok. I told him his supervisor hadn't checked with me. LEAVE!

BEST LAWYER/INSURANCE STORY OF THE YEAR, DECADE, AND POSSIBLY THE CENTURY.
This took place in Charlotte , North Carolina. A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars, the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company. In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost 'in a series of small fires.' The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion. The lawyer sued and WON! (Stay with me.) Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that the claim was frivolous. The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer held a policy from the company, in which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable 'fire' and was obligated to pay the claim. Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the cigars that perished in the 'fires'. NOW FOR THE BEST PART... After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him arrested on 24 counts of ARSON!!! With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.

Lincoln is primarily known for being the president during the Civil War and for freeing the slaves. The true story, though, is more complcated than most realize. Most people think the Civil War was fought over the existence of slavery in the United States, but it was not. In fact, it was fought over the issue of secession from the Union, and Lincoln once wrote a letter to a man saying that if he could preserve the Union without freeing a single slave, that is what he would do! After the Civil War commenced, it took Lincoln two years to issue the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863. We followed Ann's advice a couple yrs ago. Drew all out and borrowed against that which the corp. wouldn't allow us to draw out. As I stated before, it cost us penalties and ALOT of interest, but what we have is under our ability to protect. Physical assets! Lord willing I will see y'all at the PATCON.
