I decided to break this out into a thread of it own, a lot of our problems these days is do to a misinterpretation of the "Commerce Clause". Very few people realize that the case that allowed the government to insert themselves into almost every facet of our lives was do to a farmer towards the end of the Great Depression that wanted to grow goods to feed his family... WICKARD v. FILBURN, 317 U.S. 111 (1942), This judgment was the beginning of the Federal Governments bastardization of the Constitution and their continued assault on the States. www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/conlaw/wickard.htmlen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wickard_v._Filburn

Absolutely, this decision was one of the main keys that unshackled the Government from their restraints.
