Tyranny takes many forms....a lesson for everyone!by Tyson Ruble

Fellow Patriots,
Tyranny, it takes many forms. I have experienced many forms, as I am sure many of you have as well, but the most basic definition of tyranny in my mind is when any person, group, church, organization or government that forces you to conform to the group belief, opinion or actions through punishment, banishment or in the extreme, death.
You can experience tyranny in a marriage from a spouse, a workplace from a boss, a group from its leader, or your government through its many agencies that poses as security of freedom but in reality chains you.
I once was deacon at a Church, the Pastor considered us as the leadership to offer advice and direction. It provided a system that prevented him from being a tyrant. Early on while developing the church’s constitution we worked via Roberts Rule, eventually the Pastor starting circumventing the Deacon Boards advice and votes, sadly tyranny crept in and the Church split because the people were no longer represented. The Pastor stopped listening to the Deacon board and made decision contrary, by dictate. Sound familiar? Didn't we just vote last Tuesday to voice our opposition to those that continue to thwart the rule of law?
What form of tyranny is in your life? The ones which you can pick up and escape tyranny, such as divorce, a new job, a break from an organization? Some forms of tyranny can be defeated by just picking up roots and planting yourself somewhere else thus not allowing tyranny to rule over your life. Since tyranny depends upon your compliance, not allowing yourself to be controlled, robs tyranny of power. In the end, tyranny thrives on your fear and submission. Unfortunately, some tyranny requires sacrifice of lives to be defeated, such as government tyranny, others require sacrifice of the loss of friends, coworkers, well meaning groups or church family. In any case, defeating well rooted tyranny requires sacrifice. The sad part is that like a vile weed in the garden, the above ground plant is only a small portion, its roots will run deep and spread like a cancer. The sooner you pull the weed the less damage that is done, the less sacrifice to other productive plants. Where do we need to weed?
Patriots, make no mistake, whether right or left, progressive or constitutionalist, Marxist or Capitalist, Republican or Democrat, tyranny can and will sprout up amongst you. Do not be so naïve to believe that tyranny does not exist amongst the Patriot movement. Oh fellow patriot it exists, it is alive and well. Building roots from men that crave power over men's freedom.
I told my daughters this weekend that they can recognize tyranny or that spirit when anyone or anything forces you against your will to conform to the collective instead of reinforcing your individuality. Any person or group that ignores the rule of law or justice or basic tenants of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, has the spirit of tyranny, these are the signs of tyranny.
When the Founders established our Republic they worked diligently to establish a system to prevent tyranny from ultimate control, the rule of law.
In the vacuum that can and will be created by socio-economic collapse, government collapse or during the transfer of power the grave threat we need to be vigilantly in watching for, are those with tyranny in their true character, waiting to fill that vacuum. The vacuum of power is a scary place to dwell when the rule of law is absent, for this is where tyrants, dictators and oppressors thrive.
Patriots do not become complacent in any aspect of your life, for when you do, you create a small vacuum that allows tyranny room to grow. Tyranny must be uprooted when ever and where ever it sprouts its vile, disgusting branches.
