I don't have a link because we don't purchase anything off the internet. We can get them locally at a surplus store for between $5.99-$7.99. The spaghetti ones and the chicken/noodles and vegetable ones are actually pretty good. Just be careful with those crackers in them ;D

This place has a good deal www.armygear.net/ag/store/00231.htmlAs for the taste, I personally love em....most of em anyways. Try to avoid the breakfast MRE's. They're just weird. But everything else is edible. Also, you get about 1300 calories per pack, so if needed, you can survive just fine on one per day. If you keep them stored at a cool temperature, like 65-70, they have an 8-10 year self life.

$3.75 a piece, not bad. By the way, a 25 pound sack of long grain, jasmine rice will last a family of three for one month, giving them approximately 1,700 calories a day. An easy, cheap purchase that will keep you alive.

ebay usually has them. Or if you want new: www.longlifefood.com/I've bought a lot from them. They have great service and you can pick and choose what you want. There's some pretty crappy meal combos out there. And they have trays, which are usually 18 servings. Good for the whole family. They have sales from time to time. (and there is one now, $11 or less per tray) Regular MRE entree's are about $3.00 /ea, sides are $2.00 Most of the other stuff in an MRE I usually stripped out to save weight and space anyway. They have a sample pack too. 6 entrees, 3 sides, 3 deserts, bakery and spread for $25. and: www.mreinfo.com/Calorie Count, Storage info, menus, reviews for issue MRE's

I'm lucky, I get mine on base :-) The reason they are so high in calories is when you're out in the field you tend to burn more and are actually needed. I know useless information, my wife tells me that all the time

I imagine they are better quality, but the ones I bought are fine for me.
