Wanted: Justice & The Rule of Law
By Ray DiLorenzo, November 3, 2019
Wanted: Justice & The Rule of LawJustice and the Rule of Law (justice) within the ruling class in America is a scarce commodity. It’s at a point where justice is nowhere to be found when warranted and everywhere when it isn’t.
The social divide between the ruling class and average Americans has never been as wide as it is now. By ruling class, I mean those in government, the political system, the Ivy League educated, the leaders of bureaucracies, universities, major corporations, newspapers, media, Hollywood.
Ruling Class became decadent, arrogant, selfish, even gluttonous
I’m not speaking of standards of living, but standards of social behavior and conduct, right and wrong, and most of all, justice. They seem oblivious to the law and fully expect to skate when they violate it.
Liberals love to tell us that right and wrong are subjective…nonsense. We all know instinctively when we have gotten away with something. It is how we are wired.
Many of these ruling class individuals spend years in their destructive, ruinous behavior before justice finally, reluctantly, decides it has no other choice but to put an end to it. How many years did Weinstein and Epstein get away scot- free with their crimes? How many people who were just about to appear as a witness against some rich and powerful individual were suddenly found dead? They get away with offenses we could never hope to slide from.
At some point in the last century, the rules changed. Somewhere along the highway the ruling class diverted on a dirt road. They became decadent, arrogant, selfish, even gluttonous. They became even more of a private club than they previously were, escaping justice almost routinely.
