Oath breaking POS... They should stay out of politics and stick to doing their frigging jobs. Here in GA, Law Enforcement cannot just ask for your permit, and how many problems has this caused? Well pretty much ZERO would be the answer. We can also carry pretty much everywhere in our state and let me try to remember the last time a citizen laid their handgun on the table while eating out... oh that's right its NEVER frigging happened. BUT I do remember a host of stories about Law Enforcement officers Fed and Local leaving their guns in restrooms, on tables, on the front seat of unlocked vehicles, etc. Hypocritical Oath breaking dirt-bags. Florida sheriffs oppose open-carry legislationOctober 21, 2015 The Florida Sheriffs Association is hardly a liberal group. Yet 82 percent of the association’s voting members have just asked their leadership to actively oppose Senate Bill 300, the legislation that would turn Florida into an open-carry state. The bill as currently drafted is extremely broad, lacking limits on when, how or where firearms could be carried. The bill’s proponents claim that 45 other states already allow open-carry. But that’s not really accurate, said Sheriff’s Association Legislative Committee Chair, Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri. opinionzone.blog.palmbeachpost.com/2015/10/21/florida-sheriffs-oppose-open-carry-legislation/
