Gotta totally disagree with Mike on this one, yeah 'ole Mitt might be a nice guy BUT he pressed and passed a still standing 'Assault Weapons' Ban in direct violation of the Second Amendment, He colluded with the Obama admin to design Obamacare based on Massachusetts 'Romney Care'... yeah he might be a nice guy, but MANY of his actions are in DIRECT conflict with the Constitution. There can be no further compromise with the GOPe or they will finish us off just as surely as the Dems would, albeit at a little slower pace. The vital importance of choosing a republican presidentOct 15 by Mike Note the small “r.” That’s of no small importance too. A lot of you will probably think I’ve flipped my lid here, but I just gotta say it: it seems pretty clear to me that the guy who, in our most recent few elections, best embodied those qualities of republicanism would have to have been–wait for it–Mitt Romney. As a liberal Republican, he was dismally unsuited to the task of reviving Constitutional government, of course. But considered strictly as a sober, judicious, responsible, calm, and competent executive–and as a decent man generally–he’s as close to the republican ideal discussed in this article as we’ve come in quite a long while. coldfury.com/2014/10/15/the-vital-importance-of-choosing-a-republican-president/#comments
