Texas: Secede or Die America

It is my understanding that the sovereignty resolution will pass and be sent onto the President and the Congress of the United States. Hopefully this will be the first shot fired that moves other states in the direction of a Declaration of Sovereignty. To all the naysayers who seem to think that the question of secession has been put to rest by the War between the States and the Supreme Court understand the Supreme Court has no jurisdiction in this matter and an act of tyranny such as the northern aggression solves nothing. Is secession Constitutional? Hell yes it is one of our most important founding principles and may i live to see the day we have a "Free North Carolina".
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

Texas considers stronger sovereignty resolution
The Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM) is reporting that the State legislature in Austin is considering a bill which declares the State’s sovereignty and mentions that the continuation of the Union rests upon the right of local self-government but does not include a referendum on secession as desired by the group. TNM’s official statement on the bill notes:
Members of the Texas Nationalist Movement and the general public will recognize the text of this legislation as a virtual duplicate of the legislation proposed by the TNM to the 82nd Legislature and hand delivered to members of the Texas House of Representatives, the Texas Senate and the Lieutenant Governor on the opening day of the 83rd session of the Legislature.
