My son was told by the asst. principle at his high school here during one of their "talks" when he brought up his rights that he needed to get over it because he had no rights when he was at school. I gave him a pocket Consitution and told him next time to hand the asst. principle the copy and tell him to read it and that he wanted to exercise his right to call his father and they could deal with me starting now. My son has had some really good teachers in the last few years but it always seem that the people who get promoted to administration seem to be hard cases who feel they have to act like the SS more than school administrators.

You asked why? Remember history has away of repeating itself, instead of a Government bent on securing Liberty and Freedom they are now hell bent on a Soviet, Chinese and Nazi style of intimidation. Instead of Liberty they are following the foot steps of tyranny. youtu.be/OHZIUdHm6b4

Guess I have always been a rebel rouser! That said I remember(one ) time in Jr high (now middle school) A teacher sent me to the asst principle's office to get swats (remember them?) because I would not allow her to administer them. I got to asst principle's office, asked me why I was there, told him and he said he had to give me swats. I told him I was not guilty of accusations. He said he took her word over mine. I said not guilty. That went back and forth several times and he said he would have to call my dad, I gladly told him the number. Dad told him simply that if I said I didn't do what I was accused of, then I must not have done it. A very pissed off asst principle reassigned my english class to another teacher. The crime accused of me was (talking in class) I think my dad had a twinkle in his eye that afternoon when I came to work. ;D I must admit, I always enjoyed putting a smile on his face! Ahhhhh those were the days. Sorry, just a trip down memory lane.

Ahhhhh those were the days. Sorry, just a trip down memory lane. I had to keep quite about swats at school. The rule was if we got one at school, we got one at home. I learned it is better to not let the right hand know what the left had got caught doing sometimes. I got swats in the first grade for punching a kid, who was making fun of a friend of mine. My friend was a little slow. I gave a fair warning, they started it again, and I decked the kid, just as the teacher walked in. I didn't tell the folks about it till 17 years later. My friend and I still talk. Like I said, sometimes the left hand doesn't need to know what the right had did.

I imagine they have made changes since then though.
