Duh!... How Obama and Allies Are Suppressing News of Economic Disaster AheadPosted by Arnold Ahlert, Sep 28th, 2012 On May 7th, it was revealed that the Obama administration spent $8.35 billion on a "demonstration project" designed to postpone the vast majority of Obamacare's Medicare Advantage cuts until after the election. On July 31st, it was revealed that the Labor Department warned defense contractors against notifying workers of impending layoffs before the election as well, despite the fact that it would require violating the law to do so. On September 21, it was revealed that a report on the Greek bailout will also be postponed until after the U.S. election. On September 13th, Fed Chief Ben Bernanke announced that he will be pursuing a third round of Quantitative Easing (QE3), once again under the auspices of "stimulating" the economy. The over-arching theme here is clear: anything that constitutes an "inconvenient reality" for this president, especially with respect to economics, will be delayed until after the election. frontpagemag.com/2012/arnold-ahlert/obama-suppressing-news-of-economic-disaster-ahead/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=obama-suppressing-news-of-economic-disaster-ahead&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pulsenews

Not a big surprise anymore. Like every month reporting some economic statistic and then having to come back later and correct the number downward. And, of course, the media blasts out the initial figure - then buries the correction.
I doubt it will make any difference. The boat is half full of water and they are trying to bail out with a tin cup! Obama's got his life preserver on and dreaming about his new digs in Hawaii!
1) there are 30%-35% of Obama's supporters who are locked onto him no matter what. 2) the Conservatives wised up long ago. They are more motivated than ever (2010 elections and Scott Walker). Our numbers are not going to go down anytime soon. 3) The vast majority of so called independents are going to vote Republican unless Obama can pull a rabbit out of the hat.
Dick Morris on independents: It's like you are married, and your buddy asks you if you are going to get a divorce. And you say, "I am not sure yet." Independents nearly always vote against the incumbent.
Romney will be the new President, the Senate will flip, and the Republicans will pad their lead in the House. Then it will be our turn to say, "We won. Sit down and shut up!"

After White House assurances, Lockheed won't send out layoff noticesBy Susan Crabtree - The Washington Times October 1, 2012, 11:56AM Lockheed Martin is backing down from threats to issue employee layoff notices days before the November election based on new guidance from the Obama administration and the Pentagon. The defense giant's decision ends a stand-off with the administration over the impact of deep automatic cuts set to begin hitting defense spending Jan. 2, if Congress can't find a solution to the impasse. www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2012/oct/1/lockheed-wont-send-out-layoff-notices/

Romney will be the new President, the Senate will flip, and the Republicans will pad their lead in the House. Then it will be our turn to say, "We won. Sit down and shut up!" The problem is that many, many of those republkrats are part of the problem. Some voted eagerly for the patriot act, bailouts, two wars, etc. While I admire your enthusiastic belief that things will be different only if the republikrats win and take control, their actions have sadly shown without doubt that they are not the friends of liberty nor fiscal sanity they claim to be during an election cycle. And therefore, nothing will truly change and the collapse will continue as planned by TPTB. The only thing that will change is the vociferous opposition to administration policies because the republikrats have their guys in charge. Where were all the republikratic voices of opposition when Bush enacted the patriot act? No where to be heard, Instead I heard "conservative" talkers claiming that if you weren't doing anything wrong, you had nothing to worry about within the patriot act. Most have conveniently forgotten about their stance then as the railed against it re-renewal. The repuiblikrats have overall, done just as much harm to our liberty and fiscal well being as the demoncraps and therefore do not get my trust nor my vote.
