Brock, I went to that link and read it. But one of the comments froze my blood: If Romney gets in & he does turn around the economy, there we'll still have the issue of the Patriot Act, NDAA, a treaty with Canada authorizing Canadian battle ready troops on US soil, the E.O. dividing the USA into ten regions with appointed governors. I desperately need to see that specific EO. I imagine it's on the White Hut's website, but I need the EO number to get to just that one. Can you assist? SARGE

Perdue was the governor in charge of this region if I remember correctly so I imagine someone else will be appointed with her not running for governor of NC this time.

The E.O is called the White House Governors Council. Signed Jan. 3rd or the 13th in 2011 I believe.
Each Region will have an "APPOINTED" Governor to over see the states in that Region. No where in the Constitution does it allow this.
I am in Region 5, MN. WI. MI. IN. OH. & IL. The way a Constitutional Lawyer explained it was, lets say MI. Governor say's screw you to the NDAA. The Appointed Governor may over ride MI. Governor which basically makes him a figure head.
Anyone else want to chime in here?

The Appointed Governor may over ride MI
We need him to go to a county in MI that has a Constitution honoring sheriff that will arrest him.

Even an EO cannot "legally" trump the Constitution. Anything that is in direct conflict with Constitutional Law "legally" cannot stand as enforceable law. That being said, our government has become so bold as to think that they can ignore the Constitution at will and do as they please. That is not only grounds for a lawsuit under a Bivens action since they are acting under the color of law, but is an act of war against the American people.

Sedition, that was a mouthful of stuff about what can "legally" override what. I would put forward that we are already in state of 'lawlessness" since the law and the Constitution is being selectively enforced and selectively ignored.

Correct. We have been lawless for decades. The "Patriot Act" was one of the most vicious rapes of our Constitution there has ever been, but it was enacted with thunderous applause and great fanfare. I have had more than a few email battles with Marco Rubio on his support of the Patriot Act. I don't think he likes me very much after I labeled him a traitor to the Constitution.

This is true of a Government which respects the Constitution & the citizens living with in the Constitution.
On the other hand when a power deems itself above the law then the Constitution is nothing more than an obstacle.
