Well, imagine that, a key player in collapsing our economy and no charges... The Lawless protecting the Lawless. U.S. Won't Prosecute Goldman Sachs, Employees Over CDO DealsBy Phil Mattingly - Aug 10, 2012 12:01 AM ET The U.S. Justice Department won't pursue criminal charges against Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) or its employees for allegedly concealing that the bank bet against securities related to the housing market that it sold to investors. The Justice Department, along with the U.S. attorney's office for the Southern District of New York, had reviewed the possibility of prosecution after the Goldman Sachs deals were faulted in a Senate investigative panel’s report last year. Prosecutors "determined that, based on the law and evidence as they exist at this time, there is not a viable basis to bring a criminal prosecution with respect to Goldman Sachs or its employees in regard to the allegations set forth in the report," the Justice Department said yesterday in a statement. www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-08-09/justice-finds-no-viable-basis-for-charges-against-goldman.html

Of course they cannot begin to prosecute the evil banksters and their minions because an "open" trial would more than likely incriminate far too many politicians and others among TPTB. Some of those chosen as scape goats would certainly not be bought off and would try to take down their masters. Besides who would the politicians have left to demonize if they successfully prosecuted the evil ones even if they managed not to be implicated in the process.

He is probably correct! Since we left the Glass-Steagall act of 1933 for the "Volker Decision" what was done is not really against the law any more. However the Glass-Stegall act is still a functioning law and could be used if pressed. However that would close down many companies that have no ability to operate within the act and stay open. americannationalmilitia.com/2012/08/understanding-the-glass-steagall-act/Once more the Fed trumped the American People and our laws.
