Yeah... I read the thread the other night on Ar15.com. The pro-jackboot crowd there wanted this guys blood...
... Over steroids seized TWO years ago...
WTF?
It's bad enough we have a drug war in contravention of the express limits in the Constitution. It's bad enough that our police departments justify bloated budgets for SWAT toys by staging high profile no-knocks like this. It's horrifying that they would raid someones house to seize firearms over a MISDEMEANOR assault charge.
But to come back TWO YEARS later to raid this guy?
My prayers go out to all the families affected by this event, but this is the price you pay when you vote for MORE tyranny.

One of these times they are going to run into the wrong guy on one of these no knock raids and it will not be one man killed, but several.
Then they will move against citizens having guns.

They run on money! The drugs they seize are minimal and usually get back on the street within a few weeks. The Department though gets to keep the House, car, any money found, and additional Grants from the Feds. If "We the People " got our testicles in our hands, instead of feeling our other bulge, and began to sue them in local courts for the violations of the written laws it would soon end. When the written Warrant is based upon a flagrant lie told for gain or coerced by the cops from a known criminal it is still the COP who signs the Affidavit the judge uses to issue the Warrant. That COP should as a minimum have his bond collected, also the bond of the COP'S Supervisor, and his Chief of police/Sheriff/Agent in Charge. When the department starts paying out hundreds of Thousands of Dollars for wrong address, no drugs found, wrong people at correct house, etc,,, Then they will return to the line they swore to protect. If for no other reason than to stay for retirement.

Or until after the next Warsaw ghetto? When have we put up with enough? How much civilian blood needs to be shed until it's "enough"?

Sue their bonding company. If they can't get bonded, they can't be a cop.

Most people go for the "big money" and sue the county/city PD, but if they sue the officer's surety bond, it makes it far more difficult and expensive to attain a surety bond to remain an LEO. No bond=no cop career.

Or until after the next Warsaw ghetto? When have we put up with enough? How much civilian blood needs to be shed until it's "enough"? This may sound cold blooded, and is a little cold blooded. It is also from someone who has at Greensboro, and has been to several Tea Party Events. I am always armed when I go to these places. The Boston Massacre was a group of people egging on the soldiers till they shot. The crowd threw stones, and yelled at the troops till they fired. That event changed everything. It was no longer acceptable for a lot of people to stand on the side line, or support the King, as his troops was killing citizens. Kent State was a group of kids protesting at a school where 3 shootings had taken place in the past few weeks, and where violence by the anti-war movement was escalating. It changed everything, because now the troops had fired on innocent protesters. Even though someone fired a weapon before the troops did. It was no longer acceptable to support the war, or be neutral as the government had over reached and killed citizens. I have said it before and will say it again, they have to make the first big mistake, the first overreaction, or the first public display of overreaction. That will change public perceptions in a heartbeat and change everything. Remember Ruby Ridge? Remember Waco? It was changing everything, as people started to wake up and see the government as a threat. Clinton was down and almost counted out. Then someone committed OK City and that turned the tide 180 in one day. I don't know when enough blood will be enough, or when and where it will happen. I do know over reaching and abusive governments over reach and abuse till something happens and the people wake up. I do know that if someone does something dumb before the tide of public opinion is set, it can turn the tide against freedom and against the Patriot Movement in one day.

The reason is that most "People" think like the gentleman above who siad the Tax payer would just get the Bill. In fact if you call a Bar card Lawyer he will urge you to sue the city, or the Police Department, or the State. Why? They will pay his bill and in return he will screw the pooch. If however the "people" walk up to the Court Clerk and file an affidavit of truth about the situation he is bound by his oath to investigate. If "the People" also contact the Secretary of State and ask for the name of the company who handles the police department's Surety Bonds they too are Oath bound to provide the information. Then write the Bond company and provide them a statement of how much you feel you are owed and for what and in most cases they will issue a check, or refuse and you can begin a lawsuit. Up until 1946 when the American Standards of Procedure Act was passed by congress lawyers made a fortune going after bonds. After than you can't get a lawyer to proceed with one on fear of disbarment.

Come on now, I know we have some lawyers viewing the pages... Whats up with that? got the cops with their "thin blue line", what do we have about this subject and lawyers... the "thin green line".
Is this one of those "conspiracy" type beliefs?
Or if such "bonds" actually do exist and I want to go after a cops bond... how is it done? could their union be sued, gotta be an end run around the current "sue the locality" nonsense.
And safetalker, why could the removing of such "bond" not be a secondary lawsuit such as as a "civil trial" after a criminal trial (total B.S. by the way... is and has always been a way around double jeopardy).
Seems to me that if removal of this "bond" was a possibility. it would have been done at least a couple times in the past... and if it has, I have never heard of it.

I don't know when enough blood will be enough, or when and where it will happen. If everything that has happened before isn't enough... Then anything that will happen in the future won't be either. People will always find ways to justify inaction in their minds until it is too late. Humans have a psychological blind spot. As long as the other frogs are staying in the pot, so will the rest. Especially if you are derided by all the other frogs for wanting out, thinking the water is already too hot, or that hot water is a bad thing altogether... While I agree about public sentiment... I just don't know that we will ever have that "trigger" event like Lexington and Concord. We aren't the only ones learning lesson from the past and our Enemies have done their homework. Bank on it.

They have done their homework, but they can't help themselves anymore than a drug addict can. Their drug is power and power and they have to have it. To get that power they have to overreach. That will be their down fall. I hate waiting and hate not knowing when and where things finally impact the air circulation device. All I and anyone with a desire to win can do is wait. It is like riding the amtrac into the beach and not knowing what will happen. No matter how you want the trip to stop, or go faster, that amtrac will get to the beach when it gets there. Expect this to be a warm summer, and an even hotter fall if things do not go certain groups ways. I didn't mean to change your post above, I just hit the modify button by mistake.

All things come to he who waits. The moment will come and we will know that moment for He will make it known to us and yet there will be a multitude more transgressions before that moment comes. This does not mean that righteous indignation and defensive action will not also be required by many before that moment comes... Daniel 12 The End Times 1 “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. 6 One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”
7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.”
8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”
9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”

Yes johnny it is true. It is also the only way to make a LEO understand that his oath is not his bond his Surety Bond is and without it he gets to exchange his LEO suit and Gun for a flashlight and a pickup truck with Walmart on the door.

As far as the Lawyers they all graduated with 6 years of Tuition loans. Then they joined the State bar who in I believe controls the ability to practice law in 46 states and the District of Columbia. Every Judge is a member, every Prosecutor is a member, every Supreme Court Justice is a member, and every Defense Attorney is a member. These are the people who decide if you are tried or dismissed. They close your property transactions, and decide what part of your inheritance is yours or goes to the state. They are never elected except to Judgeships in some states. Even then they are preselected by the other Lawyers to appear on the ticket based upon their membership in the State Bar. Some know and others are like any other "We the People" and look away for reasons of compensation. If they get into something like calling bonds which are also held by all Judges, Prosecutors, and themselves they very quickly find the errors of their ways and go out of business. Sorry Charlie! No help from them is forthcoming as long as they want to make money.

Excellent safetalker, I think we can build something on this, the word WILL spread... When you have a rotten items throughout a bushel, you discard the entire basket as the other items touching them are already "infected". We must fight this fire with a Flame Thrower, burn the rotten baskets into dust and start anew. Many will say; "Well there are some good guys in there"... if they are witness to an Oath Breakers actions and are not cleaning their own house, then they are part of the problem. Their Oath is to the Constitution, not the "brothers in blue". So if they look the other way when they see one of their own step outta line, they gotta go, as they are no better than the Oath Breaker they are "supporting".
