Something to think about.

I was at Sipsey Street and was reading a set of articles. One of the links was about guerrilla movements.
I have not held my tongue and many on here know I believe that is where we are headed.
Here is what I was reading.

Here is the actual part that made me think.

In this it talks about insurgents controlling the country side. In the successful insurgencies they have controlled the country side and slowly squeezed the cities.
This was accomplished when the insurgents kept the favor of the people and had their support. Mao's "Long March", Castro's Cuba, the Afghans against the Russian's, and more.
However when the insurgents do things to cause the people to turn on them, they lose. Like the insurgents in Iraq, who violently attacked the people as well as the enemy and the "Awakening" happened.
In Columbia there have been 53 insurgencies, or major disturbances and most have failed, because they didn't keep the people on their side.
Here is another paper if you reed between the lines will show the same thing happening again and again.

What does this tell us and what should we do are the questions that come to mind.
1. We have to have the support of the American people. If this stays cold and doesn't go to a shooting war, good. We still have to have the support of the American People to push back against the collectivist.
If it does go hot, God Forbid, we will need the support of the people even more.
2. We must never strike first, as that will be turned against us in the media and will move the people toward seeking the safety of the collectivist. Again, NO OK CITIES.
This may sound Machiavellian, but we must force them to make the first mistake and turn public opinion even more against their collectivist plans.
That may mean we have our own "Boston Massacre", or a fight in the streets against the collectivist, but they must strike first.
Even with us making the right moves, this may end up as another "Long March" and take years of struggle to restore the Constitution. Weather we can do it peacefully, or not.
