Those who do not have the resources to buy a new fuel efficient vehicle will soon find that their minimum wage job will not support their expenses for buying gas to travel to and from work. Pleasure trips?-forget it.
Even those who opt for public transportation are now paying $1.75 one-way regular bus fare in Broward County (Fort Lauderdale), Florida, whereas five years ago the fare was $1.00. Five years ago, a monthly pass cost about $30.00; nowadays the monthly pass is $58.00. (http://www.broward.org/BCT/Pages/Default.aspx)
It won't be long before Obama's wards begin to get restless, but they will never place the blame where it belongs.

I can remember similar stories back in '07 and '08 when the gas was getting up like this.
