GOP Facing Tea Party RevoltThursday, 14 Apr 2011 12:21 PM, By David A. Patten A stunning Congressional Budget Office report revealing that the so-called $38 billion in budget cuts made last week will only result in $352 million in savings this year has touched off a backlash from the conservative grass-roots base of the GOP that could make future bargains that much more difficult. Several top tea party leaders are trying to ease the frustration, reminding the tea party faithful that Republicans only control the House of Representatives. But the antipathy on the right with how Washington does business is now palpable... Read more: www.newsmax.com/Headline/TeaParty-RepublicanParty-BarackObama-Budget/2011/04/14/id/392868

Yep...those that folded under pressure of a government shutdown have, in my eyes, blinked in the stare-down contest. They abandoned their principles and the promises they made to get elected INTO office, so next go-'round, they need to be replaced along with all the other traitorous socialists.

I was glad to see our new Congressman here in district two stood his ground and voted no on it. I think we finally got one with some principles to represent us.

But there WILL be a vote.

In my opinion what is needed now is a list of names of those who caved. How many of our elected felons are taking our money and voting to make the Federal Government larger and voting to pay the way for crimes against the people who voted for them. We as a nation need to quit accepting th lies of our elected felons as part of their jobs, accepting our felon voting for his/her friend's interests in congress instead of his/her constituents back home. We need to begin a recall election on their first offense. Their party seems to make no real difference in their behavior so if we vote out a Conservative Republican and a Liberal Democrat is elected maybe we will get a better representative. If not, recall them too. If they won't work for our votes perhaps they will work for our wrath.

I agree. The DHS is making their "domestic terrorist" list. We need our own. What the crooks in congress and other government positions do is far worse than car bombs or school shootings.

Of course the gop leaders are facing a revolt from within, as well they should. I suppose the gop "leadership" expects to continue business as usual even though many folks through their votes, have stated unequivocally that the business as usual mentality that has permeated the district of criminals has to END! But I believe nothing will really change significantly because they still believe they are the only game in town for Constitution loving folks. Sadly, they are right, too many of our people will not give up upon the statists in EITHER party so I guess we get the government we deserve. Good luck changing that antiquated elephant from within, we do not have enough time, nor the back bone.
