We have had a couple reports of APC's being moved around in the state of Indiana.
Is anyone else seeing troop or equipment movements?

Negative for the ATL area, just normal movements. I am on the road daily and make it a point of swinging by some of the Mil/NG sites.... others that can do the same, should. It will give you a good feel for what the norm is in your area.

I heard on coast to coast a couple nights ago that a unit from a base in Kansas was scheduled for "training exercises" in the new madrid fault area in June but that had been moved up and they left sometime last week to head to that area. So, Tim, that may explain the activity in your area. They are preparing for the what if and when for the earth quake that some say is coming in the VERY near future. I've seen a map from the U.S. Navy of what would happen if a 6.8 quake were to hit that area and martial law in that area would be a moot point , because most of it would be under water.

Thanks. I may have to break into my barter supply to soothe my nerves. ALSO...if you go to indianasonsofliberty.com/default.asp You can see the intel listed on the front page of the website. Don is working to get it set up for nationwide intel right now. Check it out and leave some feedback. Thanks.

Folks The main significance of an Armored Personnel Carrier is WHO is driving it. WHERE were they driving it. But much more important are the markings on the beast. Just over the tail lights will be a sequence of letters and numbers. Ususally in black or dark brown on the cammo . Civilian police unites will be white on the black paint. Next is were their any weapons protruding from any holes in the front. Warning do not attempt to follow these guys. If they are doing a no no slamming on their brakes, which will stop 3 times as fast as yours and backing up your floor shift won't make much difference. Bettr to do some of what is called looping recon. See them, and take a turn that will rejoin up the road a bit. Get out the vision devices and wait out of their visual path. Soon as they pass cross the road and loop ahead again till you suspect they may have seen them. Then go on a long view say 2 counties for a glass of soda and return by another direction. Remember they aren't stupid and they know their jobs. Don't get dead over a Sgt and his cub on a beer run.

I saw two identical very new looking trucks yesterday at the BP station at I-95 exit 41. They were parked and idling. The trailers were very similar to the 80 pax trucks that we used in Basic Training to haul troops to/from the ranges. Since the 80 pax trucks were designed to haul 80 personnel with rucks, I estimate that these trucks coud haul at least double that. They were stainless steel or similar and had three personnel doors on the right side and no door on the back. The windows were set a bit more than head high and had VERY stout bars spaced about 4" apart. It was NOT a horse trailer. Wish I would have had my camera. I did not get a plate

Haven't seen anything like that out at Bragg. They may be part of an Auto racing team. Most of the current Convoys are Bragg to Wilmington they go up to 40 and down to little river. If you are in this area how about a meet one weekend? I am really not a crazy as the portray me.

I was in Ohio on I-71 yesterday, and noticed three military trucks going North at mile marker 128. Two were the tan desert cammo and the third caught my attention, as it was painted in the cammo used by Dutch military vehicles.
I then noticed a Hummer and two of the same kind of trucks at mile marker 121. All three of these vehicles were in the standard tan cammo.
As I was going in the other direction, I could not follow and get an ID on these vehicles.
