I remember a friend in the UP of MI when I was calling on him on business bringing me to see the full body mount of the 750lb black bear his daughter had shot that year. His daughter was such a polite young lady and I asked her how it felt to shoot such a large bear. She said she had the opportunity and took her shot. Of course after the bear went down she waited and then she had her husband walk up to make sure the bear was dead.
We raised two girls and they are both extremely self sufficient and can take care of themselves. I can also tell you my wife who was brought up outside NY City had never held a gun until she met me but the first tiem my brother and I took her out shooting we were amazed at her inate ability with a fire arm. She is a natural and if I ever "really" tick her off it is over for me.

I'll be hitting 20 this year... although I constantly remind her of the fantastic catch she made, I'm surprised she has stayed around this long. ;D

Don perhaps it is just our own version of normalcy bias. After 35 years of fighting it is amazing we can still so easily find things to disagree on.... Truth is that marraige like life is always a work in progress and she is hoping that one day I will grow up and become civilized. She admits that at least I am house broken....
