Presidential Advisers: Slash Spending Now — Or New Meltdown Will 'Dwarf' 2008Thursday, 24 Mar 2011 12:39 PM, By Jim Meyers America’s gaping budget deficit could lead to a crisis that would “dwarf” the meltdown of 2008 — and to get the country out of its fiscal mess, the government must slash spending substantially, according to 10 former members of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers. The economic experts — former chairmen and chairwomen of the council serving both Republican and Democratic administrations — issued the warning in an open letter published by Politico. Our elected usurpers do not have the stones to make the amount of cuts that are necessary to truly get us out of this hole we have allowed them to dig for us. They are too worried about being re-elected to make any substantive changes in spending.

I am afraid we will all pay the price as it appears that the true PTB may want chaos. The choices of change practiced by the true "progressives" has been very slow incremental change which is accepted or just ignored by the majority and after a short period of time deemed the norm and rapid descent into chaos and anarchy. The first has been practiced for decades but with the resistence to such incremental transformation as surfaced with the Tea Party the more likely we are to see the latter as the avenue taken to bring about extensive change through collapse of the world as we know it which will lead to chaos, anarchy and extreme violence. this can be acheievd by any one of many triggers such as economic collapse, multiple tactical terrorist strikes on the major cities around the US, a tactical EMP strike or a major nuclear strike against Isreal just to name a few. Then the PTB need to simply sit back and wait until it all falls apart so they can come to the rescue to rebuild the country or world in their idea of "perfection". Properly executed they can target primarliy the US or the entire world by their choice of and extent of execution of the trigger chosen.

That is why WE must be the guardians of the Republic, to know its history and the foundations of it beginning... all you need to restart a Republic is the founding documents and the will to follow them.

I'm pretty disappointed with the new congress. Instead of trying to plug the holes they seem more interested in rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Hope y'all packed a life jacket.

The new congress is like the old congress. They spend 2 or three years shaking hands, accepting money, and promising favors. Then one day they are sworn in by a senior member of the congress. Their Oath is counter signed by the head of the Congress house they were elected to and then filed away for no one to see. Then they are briefed on how congress really works. If the state citizens he was elected by received a copy and signed it and returned it we could have controled him but alas we watched Survivor that night. These elected felons we voted for are our proxy person on the Corporate board. They are there to better the Corporation not us. If trading votes with other Proxy voters helps his conscience because it allows him to repay a favor locally then great. If not then he will have to do something to sooth the local feathers and blame his fellow elected felons. We however have no legal recourse because we did not accept his sworn oath of office.

We'll see, they are getting the crap beat out of them right now... as long as people stay in the fight we'll be on a very long road to recovery... if not, who knows. But the game must be played out to an end and I'm pressing hard for my side.

I am leaning towards believing that TPTB actually want a meltdown simply because it is really the ONLY way out of this strangling debt we have allowed them to accumulate.
