Some Congressional members are quietly making statements to the Obama Admin, saying he can't just attack a country. He must go through Congress... You can probably imagine the Admins response. Yeah, that annoying section three... SEC. 2. (c) The constitutional powers of the President as Commander-in-Chief to introduce United States Armed Forces into hostilities, or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances, are exercised only pursuant to (1) a declaration of war, (2) specific statutory authorization, or (3) a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces. Yeah we really don't like that section... so we'll just ignore it.

Actually, using the Cass Sunstein technique, we just need to "tweak" that law a little...

I posted the link below yesterday and commented. Not that I don't detest Qadaffi, but to quote my Congressman, Walter Jones, who is absolutely one of the best, being a compatriot of Ron Paul, "........how much more can we give treasure and blood?" It's time to defend our own shores, period. The Blood On Obama's Hands freenorthcarolina.blogspot.com/2011/03/blood-on-obamas-hands.html

We've got more than enough problems here to sort out before we start worrying about everyone else's.

I bet they will be glad to see him in Rio after he gave two billion dollars to a state run oil company there to drill even deeper wells than the BP rig he so much distained. Is it a coincidence that days beofre the deal was announced that Soros repositioned himself in Petrobras the company that benefited form the US money.
Hmmmm... Me thinks Martha Stewart served time for far less heinious dealings....

It s obvious you didn't get the memo. On march 9 1933 in HR-1491 the congress of the United States gave up their rights, responsibilities, and prerogatives to the President of the United States. This act modified the constitution when ever the nation is under a state of emergency. We have been under a state of emergency since 1933. The difference with Lil Barry is that, being a scholar on the Constitutional law, he doesn't care what the people think. Time to go read three documents: 1: HR 1491 dtd 9 march 1933 2. HR 192 1936 3. The trading with the enemy act which you violate every time you spend a FRN 4. The Gold Act of 1930's Knowledge is a bigger axe thn opinion.

NATO to U.S.: We Need More Strikes in LibyaU.S. Agrees to Continue Combat Missions; Lack of U.S. Strikes Blamed for Rebel Losses
NATO has asked the United States to continue participating in airstrikes over Libya through late Monday, ABC News has learned. This was done to make up for the bad weather earlier in the week that had hampered targeting of Gadhafi forces and allowed them to push the rebels back to Ajdabiyah. The United States was supposed to have significantly begun dropping its participation in airstrikes over Libya. abcnews.go.com/International/nato-asks-us-continue-libya-air-strikes/story?id=13287530Attachments:
