No Capitulation, No Compromise of Principles

The excitement and stirring of my spirit of faith and patriotism after the Restoring Honor Rally has carried through and encourages me in so many different ways. The concerns for our nation, our constitutional republic, our founding principals of Life, liberty and pursuit of happiness have not waned.
Like any movement or strategic battle, the opposition does not retreat easily, even when the momentum is against them. If any thing they lash out with anger and renewed vigor. They do not want to lose their control of the field of politics or field of battle. Believe me; we are in a battle, a battle for the very soul of America. What ever differences we have in our movement, they must be put aside. The founders had similar differences but they set those aside for a single common cause. Liberty, freedom, the charting of your own destiny, to strive for your dreams without obstacles of an oppressive king or master. Failures occur when we become over confident, when we think we have won the day. That only allows the enemy to regroup and mount a major counter-offensive. After a melee, we must reform our lines and push forward, the time to celebrate victories will not come this week or next, or even on November 3rd. They will only come once the bell of liberty can be rung again, and the enemies of our republic are vanquished. Someone once said that “Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the vanquishing of your enemy”, how true does that ring? We must win the battle of ideas of liberty and freedom, that as you watch the anger and venom spewing from the mouths of Ed Shultz and Chris Matthews, you can hear the desperation in their voices. They know they are losing control. The mouth pieces of those who want to control us are speaking their master’s thoughts.
I watched Glenn Beck yesterday evening, as he was describing our movement as the third American Awaking or Enlightenment. He told of the first in the 1740's as Whitfield began to preach, stirring the spirits of colonists to independence from the tyranny of the King. It stirred and inspired men like John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry, and Thomas Paine to show people the way to liberty and self determination. The second awaking was the 1840-50's as pastors and citizens began to stir the country to realize the contradiction of freedom and liberty by enslaving a people, that the principle founding ideals must include ALL men. He then with a smile said the third is the movement today. Americans stirred and awakened from their slumber to realize that they are not an angry, selfish, faithless people. That faith in God, and standing on principles are virtuous and right and true. As we have awakened, we realize how far we have strayed from the founder’s intent.
As I listened I started to draw some interesting conclusions of the moments of the awakenings in America. Interesting as I looked at Amy and said, if true, then the first two awakenings preceded armed conflict, The American Revolution was the armed conflict as King George moved to oppress the colonies. He did so out of fear of losing control. The second awakening preceded the Civil War, the debates of this war are many, however it resulted in armed conflict, with both sides not wanting to relinquish control. President Lincoln and his control of the Union and the southern plantation owners refusing to relinquish control over their pre-industrial culture, no matter which side was just it is of no consequence since the awakening resulted in armed conflict. Therefore, if history holds true the awaking of the return to God, constitutional principles, individual destiny, and loss of control by the master will result in armed conflict.
Those that control the darkness of keeping the American public in ignorance and darkness will not relinquish their control through negotiation or capitulation, the children of the truth will have to fight to take control back. Will the battle be an actual armed conflict or will it take the form of restoration through the political process? Have we as a people learned from our prior political conflicts or will we repeat the pattern? I do not have that answer, I know that history directs us to evidence that those that risk losing control will not capitulate or disappear into the pages of history; they will do everything necessary to maintain control of the field of battle.
Prepare yourselves, prepare your family and friends for want ever that means to you. Speak the truth boldly, but with kindness and concern for your fellow man. We should however never let up, we should not capitulate or compromise our principles, and we must stay vigilant.
