Why the Washington State Gun Rights Fight is YOUR FightJan 27, 2015, By Anthony Bosworth and Kit Lange Readers of PHS lately have seen a lot of articles about the ongoing gun rights fight here in WA. You might think it doesn’t apply to you because you don’t live here in the Pacific Northwest. You would be so very wrong; what we are fighting here in our state is coming to yours. For some of you, it’s already there. You might think that us fighting over taking open carry firearms into the state legislature viewing galleries is a stupid argument and one that you don’t care about. Again, you’d be wrong. If you’re an American who values freedom, you should care very much about what’s going on here in Washington…regardless of where you live. www.patrickhenrysociety.com/washington-state-gun-rights-fight-fight/

h/t to freenorthcarolina for link. What if the Government arrested you without mirandizing and then dragged you off for 'questioning' because of your political activism. What if they refused your repeated 'requests' for a lawyer and then interrogated you for hours, threatening you, your family, your friends, and your fellow 'activists'? Couldn't happen in America? After all we have the Constitution with the attached Bill of Rights in our favor don't we? Yeah, not so much... and if they would do this to an 'activist' that is a military combat veteran who is fully aware of the law and the Constitution, you think their gonna have a problem with you? Feds Attempt to Derail Liberty Movement in WA State, Interrogate Liberty Activistby Kit Lange | Feb 26, 2015 | Editorials, The Battle for Washington State Yesterday we reported on the arrest (and later release) of liberty activist Anthony Bosworth, an Iraq War vet and one of the co-leaders of Liberty For All. You may have seen the InfoWars story on his questioning by the FBI. What you don’t know is that it was far worse than even they reported. If you have already seen the video, then you already know that he was not read his Miranda rights during his arrest. He also wasn’t given his Miranda rights at any time during the three hours of interrogation by various federal agencies. Not only did he confirm with them that he was, in fact, in custody and being interrogated (the two flags that must be present for a Miranda warning), but he specifically and repeatedly requested to speak with an attorney. www.patrickhenrysociety.com/feds-attempt-derail-liberty-movement-wa-state-interrogate-liberty-activist/

Excellent! This is what we did in GA after the Capitol Police threatened us with arrest during an armed rally on the Capital grounds, we raised hell, threatened a lawsuit, and then showed up at the Capital the following week with a larger group of armed protesters, during which the Capitol Police commander came out and apologized for their 'misreading' of the law. After that, we held a number of armed rallies on the Capital grounds with no further problems. Washington activists plan peaceful armed assembly response to activist’s arrestDavid Codrea, Gun Rights Examiner, February 27, 2015 6:20 AM MST Reacting to the “catch and release” of one of its leaders for openly carrying a firearm on federal grounds that ban firearms inside the facility, Washington activists are planning a responsive armed demonstration, the Our State, Our Rights coalition announced today on Facebook. Liberty for All and Defend Amendment X will gather in front of the Tom Foley Federal Building in Spokane next Friday to protest the arrest and detention of Anthony Bosworth by DHS police on Wednesday. www.examiner.com/article/washington-activists-plan-peaceful-armed-assembly-response-to-activist-s-arrest

To the Keyboard Warriors and the Facebook Commandos of Washington Stateby Kit Lange, Mar 2, 2015 There are many who, in the last few months, have denigrated those of us who are standing in person and armed. They have called us names, blocked us from their pages and groups, written articles about their belief that we are all stupid and uneducated attention whores, and even insinuated that we are federal agents attempting to rile up the people for the purposes of getting the ‘real’ patriots arrested. I have read literally thousands of articles and comments and forum posts written by people who claim the title of patriot and yet sound more like the people we are standing against. Go home, they say. Shut up. Stop making us look bad. Stop being so loud. You’re gonna get us all in trouble with Daddy. That’s what all of that boils down to. We are afraid, and we wish you’d stop rocking the boat. What is even more pathetic is that often these are the same people who will loudly proclaim that if the government showed up at their front door, by God, then they’d fight. You just wait…they will be epic warriors, who will rise to save the Republic. You’ll see. www.patrickhenrysociety.com/keyboard-warriors-facebook-commandos-washington-state/

Why Spokane. Why now.SSI, Thursday, March 5, 2015 One of my best friends called me up yesterday to urge me, to plead with me, not to go to Spokane. He had a lot of reasons why. One point he raised was that some in the open carry/We Will Not Comply movement seem to be determined to become "scarier than the people they oppose" by "dressing like operators in Iraq" and "wearing masks and clown get-up." He pointed out the long-ago critique of a leftist looking back on the anti-war movement who bemoaned that they lost the larger argument when the anti-warriors, through riots and Weatherman actions, "became scarier than the Vietnam War itself." Anthony, I pointed out, was dressed in a suit and tie. "Yeah," he retorted, "but the press didn't run his picture, did they?" He has a point. It is incumbent upon us to insist upon our rights but not to appear as out-of-control loons when we do. Armed civil disobedience puts a premium upon principle and discipline and some folks, frankly, lack both. Of course, he complained, "I know you're not going to listen to me and you're going to do what you want to do anyway." He concluded by telling me he was was putting me on another prayer list. Good. I need all the prayers I can get, as do we all. His principal fear, and one that is well taken from the vantage point of experience (and we both have more than twenty years in this movement), is that a. the crisis is coming; b. we are nowhere near ready; and c. we are our own worst enemies. All true. And yet, what are we to do? But before we answer that question, let me ask another upon which the first depends: What do we know? Specifically, in this instance what do we know about the situation in Washington state? Here's what I know, or can reasonably deduce from past experience. sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com/2015/03/why-spokane-why-now.html

SPLC chatter predicts arrests of Spokane liberty activistsDavid Codrea, Gun Rights Examiner, March 9, 2015 11:11 AM MST If arrests are made, expect rules of engagement to treat targets as armed and dangerous, so that any encounters will be planned to surprise and overwhelm, and also to demoralize others from attempting similar future acts of defiance. Expect guns to be confiscated from those arrested, and the media to fully exploit the potential to gin up public fears by displaying “arsenals.” Expect "child protective services" to wield power if it can. Expect prosecutors to bring the full power of the state, with all of its resources, down on people with limited means to defend themselves, and to economically cripple defendants with asset forfeiture if it looks like they intend to try. Expect homes to be foreclosed on, or evictions from rental units, when incomes are cut off and breadwinners are no longer free to earn them. Expect sentences to be severe to set an example of what anyone who defies the state can look forward to. www.examiner.com/article/splc-chatter-predicts-arrests-of-spokane-liberty-activists?CID=examiner_alerts_article

h/t to SSI for link... To The WA State Governor From Liberty For Allby Kit Lange, Mar 9, 2015, The Battle for Washington State If you do not stand up now, patriots in your state will be arrested by an out of control federal government seeking to quash the liberty movement. If that happens, there will be a reaction among We the People that will have a ripple effect far outside Washington State. At that point, you will be complicit in the beginning of a civil war. That is not something any of us want. We appeal to you as a father, a husband, as a man who has taken a solemn oath to protect and defend the rights of the people of Washington. You govern by our consent. If you would like to keep that consent, then we ask you to stand up for the people you serve. Regardless of your political position, the people have rights that must be protected. We await and expect your public reply within 3 days. If we have not heard from you by that time, we will accept that your position is in agreement with those who wish to criminally enslave the people of Washington State. www.patrickhenrysociety.com/wa-state-governor-liberty/

Bosworth Arrest: Federal Judge Could be Charged Under the Lawby Kit Lange, Mar 11, 2015, The Battle for Washington State Under the law, the federal judge who recently signed a rule to ban firearms from federal property could be charged with a host of crimes that involve penalties including imprisonment and more. After the 25 February arrest of Anthony Bosworth from Liberty for All in front of the federal courthouse in Spokane, WA for carrying an unloaded and legal rifle, federal authorities realized that the law was not on their side. The law clearly stated that the property was not included in the firearms ban, and as a result they had to release Bosworth. Obama-appointed federal judge Rosanna Malouf Peterson decided after the fact that she would simply impose her personal will on the people, and so last week she signed an order extending the ban to all the property as well. As a result, LFA went back to the scene of the illegal arrest and stood on the same ground while armed with firearms that, this time, were loaded. While many complained on social media that the rabble-rousers of LFA had once again “ruined it for everyone else” with their stand, the truth is that Judge Peterson was not only out of line in her decision, she was absolutely against the law. Please note 18 USC § 242, which states the following: www.patrickhenrysociety.com/bosworth-arrest-federal-judge-charged-law/

Open Letter to the Sheriffs of Washington Stateby Kit Lange, Mar 15, 2015 We the People will no longer allow our government to treat us as subjects. We are free men, we will act as such, and we will be treated as such. We will hold accountable those criminals and tyrants in our government who seek to subjugate and control us. We demand that you, the sheriffs of Washington State, stand and perform your duties in accordance with the state law, the state constitution, and the Constitution of the United States of America. If you do not, it will show that you, too, are complicit in the destruction of liberty, and therefore are its enemy. We remain non-violent, we remain principled and peaceful, but make no mistake: These abuses of our liberties will end now. We will not comply www.patrickhenrysociety.com/open-letter-to-the-sheriffs-of-washington-state/

Unconstitutional Judicial Tyranny... not to worry though, I'm quite sure that numerous lists of traitors to the Republic are being made, and sooner or later a squaring up of the justice system will be made. As one Patriot noted elseware: These traitorous individuals will shortly become light pole ornaments. A Few Thoughts on the Anthony Bosworth Guilty VerdictPosted by Kit Lange on Oct 27, 2015 Randy Weaver was a white separatist, a racist and a radical whose views were unpalatable to general society. In fact, most patriots would not have wanted to associate with him and his family. Their views were strange, and some of the people they associated with were even more unsavory in their views than the Weavers were. Patriots may not understand how someone who claimed to believe in liberty could honestly believe that one race is somehow better than another. One thing that patriots do understand, however, is that regardless of what Weaver’s beliefs were, he had the right to live in peace, and he did not deserve to have his son shot in the back or his wife’s head blown off on his own land at Ruby Ridge. Randy Weaver had the right to self-defense, and the government was wrong. Twenty-three years later, the horror of his story has not waned…and never will. I made the statement several months ago that Anthony Bosworth’s case was much like Randy Weaver’s. I stand by that today, especially in light of his being found guilty yesterday of a so-called ‘crime’ that was nothing more than the exercise of his inherent 2nd Amendment rights in a way that the government decided it didn’t like. In fact, while a judge handed down his unconstitutional decision, others stood outside the courthouse openly carrying their own rifles on the exact same spot where Bosworth was arrested in February of this year. Bosworth was found guilty, while others stood outside and committed the same “crime.” There is a word for the whole situation, and it’s not justice. www.patrickhenrysociety.com/a-few-thoughts-on-the-anthony-bosworth-guilty-verdict/
