They are not on your side, they are on their own... No spending to be cut, No savings to be found, it's only Tax and Spend, they don't even try to hide their agenda anymore, because they don't fear us. No matter how much of our wealth they steal, it is NEVER enough. They are leeches and they will not stop bleeding us dry until they are forcibly removed. Momentum builds in Congress for raising the federal gas taxBy Laura Barron-Lopez and Keith Laing - 01/09/15 06:01 AM EST Record-low gas prices across the U.S. have given rise to fresh talk in Washington of raising the federal gas tax for the first time in over 20 years, with leading Republicans now saying a hike must not be ruled out. thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/228986-momentum-seen-in-push-for-gas-tax-hike

Corker's Folly: Raise the Federal Gas Tax? Here's a Better IdeaFriday, 09 Jan 2015 06:31 PM, By Larry Kudlow What can Senator Bob Corker be thinking? On his first Sunday-news-show appearance of the year, right at the beginning of a new Republican Senate era, does Corker communicate a new GOP message of growth and reform? Does he talk about business and personal tax reduction that might rejuvenate start-ups, higher wages, and job-creation? Does he talk about rolling back Obamacare or regulations in general? Does he discuss sensible immigration reform, including border security? Free-trade promotion that will help consumers and businesses? Education reform? The Keystone pipeline? No. His first Republican message is: Raise the federal gasoline tax. He said this on Fox News Sunday and he repeated it on CNBC the next day. www.newsmax.com/Finance/bob-corker-gasoline-tax-republicans/2015/01/09/id/617683/

Oh yeah baby, the Republican's at work (aganst American's) yet again... Go GOP, Go GOP, Go GOP... Republicans Conspire With Dems to Raise the Gas TaxApr. 17, 2015 10:57am Pete Kasperowicz Republicans and Democrats in the House this week proposed legislation that would raise taxes on gasoline and diesel fuel in an effort to shore up the dwindling federal highway fund, and create a commission to explore other ways to boost that fund in the longer term. But in a sign members might be worried about how to pitch the tax hike, they explained it as an increase in “user fees” in a press release Thursday. www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/04/17/republicans-conspire-with-dems-to-raise-the-gas-tax/
