Before Bill Clinton started talking all his crap about a 500% sales tax on ammunition, one box per caliber is all I ever kept. Why have I since then made it a priority to have more than a box per caliber? Because there are forces at work trying to make it impossible to buy or taxing (proposed 500-1000% sales taxes) it so heavily as to be unaffordable. You have to treat what you have as potentially being all that you may EVER have. So you had better HAVE enough. The more they talk of restricting or taxing, the more they FORCE us to buy. Have to have enough to pass down to my son to shoot during his lifetime, AND enough that he can pass some down to his kids for their lifetime and so on......Because if you ever NEED it and you don't HAVE it, well................THAT would suck

Man only has those freedoms he is willing to defend to the death! This same problem arises in my house every time I bring home some "Trading Material". The wife had a point! If a fire starts near the ammo who is going there to pyt it out. If it starts to cook off the. FD will go sit on the other side of the truck till it is over. I re-cached' mine so it wont be in a place where it will be burnt. Where is yours?

Not saying precautions or limits stored on-site cannot be taken to protect fellow citizens, but the government should not be able to dictate the quantity of ammunition I can own, to do so would 'infringe' on my ability to resist tyranny. If I wanna own 500,000,000 rounds of ammo it is my business, but should I store it in my apartment? No I shouldn't.
