The Psychology Of SolitudeJuly 20, 2014 Jarhead Survivor By Dr. John J. Wood, a contributing author to SHTFBlog.com It should make one stop to think who is actively involved in the prepping process for any type of SHTF black cloud that might form on the horizon. Can I go it alone, if I have to? If I have even minor issues with living by myself for a few days, what would my psyche be like after a week, a month or longer? Regardless of whether I Bug Out or Bug In if the plan puts me in a position of going solo, is that really the best case scenario if I am human dependent? What steps can I take to offset the solitude in a struggle to maintain my sanity? Well, let’s see. www.shtfblog.com/the-psychology-of-solitude/

When confused by events simply follow the money! This is the price of modern technology. I watch daily as folks drive and talk on their phones. They come into my store and get irritated when I walk away and go sit down when they start talking on the phones Imagine when the phone is lit, but the service is gone? Imagine the kids with nothing yo do? Those of you in the loop will go mad, but old farts like I who can sit in quiet for hours on end will finally not have to answer the bell or the phone for an updated subscription to cable. I kind of look forward to it.
