Strategic Bombing isn't08 June 2013 This is a follow on post about IEDs. Once again someone posted a comment that blowing up oil refineries is a good idea for insurgents. Wrong. Let us go back and relearn the history of "strategic bombing." randomthoughtsandguns.blogspot.com/

The article was great! However since it was over 200 words the above blurb is all that will be remembered. Shame! He is totally correct though. To a point! If you can destroy an infrastructure item that your side doesn't use, or can replace to your supporters then it is strategic. If your militia can produce 10,000 rounds of bullets a week and you can remove the bullet manufacturer who makes the JBT bullets without killing the workers then it is strategic. If the JBTs move all of the people from below the reservoir and turn off the water to the people then let it blow, especially if the JBT HQ is in the path. There are no absolutes yea or nea in war. However one mans bane is often another's bank.
