In contrast with what is happening in Europe, very few Japanese are drawn to Islam. If a Japanese woman marries a Muslim, she will be considered an outcast by her social and familial environment. There is no application of Shari’a law in Japan. There is some food in Japan that is halal, kosher according to Islamic law, but it is not easy to find it in the supermarket. www.jewishpress.com/indepth/opinions/the-land-without-muslims/2013/05/19/0/

You have to make sure you know what Islam is. The Profit Muhammad did not write the Koran from his mind. He simply translated the Holy Scriptures of the Hebrews into Arabic so all Arabs could read it. The Hebrews, much like the Catholic Church, felt that only a Hebrew should be able to read the word of Yahweh. They believed that the Tribe of Ahron, Brother of Moses, Should be the readers. Like Catholic Priests who till the King James Bible had to read the bible in Old Latin they had to read it in old Hebrew. I want to suggest that instead of condemning what you don't understand that you get an english text of the Kora,n and read it next to the Old testament. You will find much that we seem to abhor is a direct quote of our own bible from before it was redone by King James and the Pope. The Muslims like us feel it is a sin to speak ill of any thing found in their Koran. They just look at it without political correctness, and only apply the actual words without any concern for common sense, or by using what is known today as fictions. Do the read it will wake up your interest in our bible with it's own 615 god given laws of which 245 are only applied to the clergy who run the temples. In these days I hear on the radio and TV, the remarks by the new 501C3 churches of the air, that all of these laws were swept aside when Yashua died on the cross. I haven't found that part of his words yet so I must read on.

I think this is one of those reasons why I won't get into deep discussions about the bible, all is up for individual interpretation. Personally I have no respect for Islam and less acceptance of Sharia Law.
Fight unbelievers who are near to you. 9:123 (different translation: Believers! Make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Let them find harshness in you. (another source: ) Ye who believe! Murder those of the disbelievers....
As for those who are slain in the cause of Allah, He will not allow their works to perish. He will vouchsafe them guidance and ennoble their state; He will admit them to the Paradise He has made known to them. - 10:4-15
Allah has cursed the unbelievers and proposed for them a blazing hell. - 33:60
Unbelievers are enemies of Allah and they will roast in hell. - 41:14

The nut job pedophile had not read the Torah, or the old testament, or the new testament, but had second hand knowledge that was not correct. The Koran is not a translation, or even a transliteration of the Bible.

Muhammad is Allah's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another. Through them, Allah seeks to enrage the unbelievers. - 48:29
Prophet! Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal sternly with them. Hell shall be their home, evil their fate. - 66:9
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans shall burn forever in the fire of hell. They are the vilest of all creatures. - 98:51
Are we to look at the Koran as we are to look at Communism? Our whole lives we were raised the best Commie is a Dead Commie, better to be Dead than Red, this is what our Government propaganda.
But now we are to accept Muslims/Islam as the norm? It is not a question of hating Muslims it's a question of respect and trust, there is none.
Now back to Midnightriders post, Japan has has the right idea.

And this pertains to Japan and the article HOW?
The Japanese would have the same problem with their Daughters marrying a Christian. They have a very strict code of behavior and to violate this code is to bring shame and disgrace upon the family. My point was that while all condem the Muslims for their following of the same basic laws that we pay homage to but do not obey. I leave the good or bad to others.

Actually many Japanese are Christians. I have a friend who was raised in Japan by his missionary mother and father. Japanese do not look down on people who marry Christians. They do look down on people who marry none Japanese.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. That is their prerogative.

Certainly. Reminds me when I mentioned to my wife once that Vietnamese didn't like blacks to which she replied, "No, we just don't think black is pretty!" Dixie and I were were just laughing at those people who seem to be "offended" if you don't think as do they. Often wonder if they have a brain.

I choose to read things that impart knowledge, not someone who chooses to just type words to see how many he can get on one one page and then not formulate them into something intelligible.
