However my suggestions is use a two man team. Its Lone Wolf, not Wolf Pack. Lone Wolfs do not do as well huntin as Packs of wolves do. A pack can force the prey into a kill zone where the other wolves wait, much better than a lone wolf can do chasing prey. Who knows we may end up in some far distant land like "Kyrzakhstan", still hunting the prey who fled.

Who knows we may end up in some far distant land like "Kyrzakhstan", still hunting the prey who fled. But a "pack" also can be tracked easier than a lone wolf, as they leave more tracks. and since they do not fear much due to the power of the pack, they take more chances.

It gets back to security. If a lone wolf is hunting he leaves little or no track. If he tells someone what he is doing he stops being a lone wolf and starts being dog food or a Wolf Pack. Even if you are one of many Lone wolfs you are still lone if you make the missions, you provide the resources, and you are willing to die alone under a tree limb in the deep woods because you ain't lone wolf if you carry a radio. This is the part of the Rebellion in 1776 that was not well discussed. There were many Lone wolfs in that war. Their mission was to kill as many British Officers as they could. Why? The British used non-English speaking Merc's who were only able to follow non-English orders. (Notice the color of the uniforms of that Col Mel Gibson had as an adversary in the flick Patriot. He was a Hessian (German) by his pants, and a Brit by his Coat.) This will need to be repeated in our war so the more Lone wolfs the better. That was Lee's downfall in the Civil War. His only Lone wolfs were in the west since to be a lone wolf was considered uncivilized. We won't make that mistake twice!

AmMerc weighs in with some good points. Lone Wolf: Eight bits of advice.
Having been off the net for a while I'm still playing catch up. Max Velocity's article on tactics for the Lone Wolf has stirred the debate, and now I get to add my two cents.

Max Velocity Tactical has an interesting and thought provoking article up entitled Tactical Considerations For The Long Wolf (hat tip Western Rifle Shooters). This is must reading and well worth the time he has put into this. I find it improbable that you read his article without picking up something that you need to think about.
