www.two--four.net/weblog.php?id=P4584"Most of you here say guns in the hands of people can defeat tyrants. Regardless of what you may hear from naysayers and firearms 'hobbyists' who will tell you AR's and AK's in civilian hands are no match for tanks and machine guns (I remember one such hobbyist posting this here on Calguns), I come before you to tell you that what you believe to be true it is true: on December 22nd 1989 me and thousands of my compatriots we did just that." "I have more principled reasons for my stand on owning firearms, and I don't care one whit in the world for the Second Amendment. It means nothing to me. My rights have nothing to do with the U.S. Constitution, and when it dawns on people that it has finally been erased -- the principal danger of all political premises posed as "social contracts" -- my rights will still validly exist, even if I die defending them. I own firearms because I have a right to private property. That is the First Thing." I know where I stand on this. What do you think on this?

During the Soviet's turn in Afghanistan the Afghans would lead them up a canyon and throw bags of sand on the tank engine compartments. When the old T-60's began to overheat the inside of the tank ran out of air as Carbon dioxide from the engine entered. When they opened the hatch 20 to thirty rounds from single shot rifles went inside to bounce around. In one case a sharpshooter fired a round up the canon breach and the shell went off in the loaders hands. In another the bullet going in met the round coming out and the round jambed. There are 100's of places on an M1 that a well placed round will make it a parked target till it runs out of ammo, air, or fuel. Then they have to open the hatch which allows rounds to bounce around inside. To quote a line from the Movie :To Hell and Back" with Audie Murphy: When the taker was told he was lucky to have a shirt that was bullet proof he responded" Not totally. The don't pass through they just come in and bounce around a while till they hit something soft" There is no weapon that man can contrive that another man can't defeat.

Why fight for the 2A? That's where it begins, our B.O.R. the Declaration of Independence. The 2A could be used to keep a Gov working with in the parameters of the Constitution.
The 2A is the muscle of the people, a means to defend the B.O.R. the authority comes from the Declaration of Independence.
And it is just that simple, don't need to read into it, it says what it says and means what it means. No speeches needed, none requested, just don't F%ck with my Liberties, Freedoms and Rights.
Yea that's all that needs to be said!

Tanks burn real nice when enough fuel is added at the start. A self igniting Molotov is something every prepper should know how to make, and have the items around. PS APCs scare me a lot more than tanks do. APCs have more eyes, and see what is going on, much better than a tank that is buttoned up.
