This made me say WOW!!! Where I found this. www.americanthinker.com/2013/01/an_appeal_for_dictatorship_comes_out_of_the_closet_at_the_new_york_times.html#ixzz2H4KH5uNcActual article. www.nytimes.com/2012/12/31/opinion/lets-give-up-on-the-constitution.html?pagewanted=all&_r=1&Parts that blew my mine. "Our sometimes flagrant disregard of the Constitution has not produced chaos or totalitarianism; on the contrary, it has helped us to grow and prosper. " "No one can predict in detail what our system of government would look like if we freed ourselves from the shackles of constitutional obligation, and I harbor no illusions that any of this will happen soon. But even if we can’t kick our constitutional-law addiction, we can soften the habit. " "we ought to try extricating ourselves from constitutional bondage so that we can give real freedom a chance." What he seems to be calling for is a Democracy where majority rules no matter what. My guess is, now that he believes he is the majority, they will do whatever his political views suggest. This is nothing, but an attempt to get the idea that, "We the People" have no real Rights, and the government can do whatever it wants. This disgust me, and alarms me at the same time. All I can say is not in my life time, and only over my dead body.

"we ought to try extricating ourselves from constitutional bondage so that we can give real freedom a chance."
That's what 80 years of progressives running the education system will get you.

I agree with both of your statements.
If they love communism so much, then move to North Korea, or China.
Thinking like that is a result of propaganda, not education. Which is what the American Educations System has become.
