The Traditional Authority and Command of Militia
Militia are an all volunteer force(no draft).Once they form up,no person, persons, private of public employee, state or national can order them to disband or disarm.Militia choose their own commanders from qualified vetted members by a straw vote(show or hands or write one name on a piece of paper dropped in a box)..All members may leave(return home) at any time, but should remain during active combat,as not to be seen as cowardly in the face of the enemy.State and local government may choose to support the militia, but are FORBIDDEN to interfere or disrupt militia operations.Any such action against the militia is unlawful under the constitution, and the charge of Obstructing justice is the least change. A civilian should face a grand jury trial.a Military member,a court Marshall under the U.C.M.J. adjudicated by friendly U.S.Military forces.

The Second Amendment states:
"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed".
Because, the 2nd protects the militia and gives authority unto those who are in it to regulate it...The people for bare arms!

My friend you definitely have an interesting take on the Second Amendment. You might want to take a glance at the Federalist papers and other writings pertaining to the second amendment... why its there and why it is number two. That being said, No the Second Amendment DOES NOT protect the militia. The only tie in to the militia, is armed citizens back then were considered our internal army/police, until we as a society decided to pass that job along to the various State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies. The Second Amendment does nothing more than codify an existing "Natural" or God-Given Right to self-defense, to restrain the government from doing what they are doing right now. Due to our government funded and run public education system, people have been brainwashed into thinking these rights are given to us by the government and not as a restraint on government meddling. Sad that people cannot read the simple language in the Bill of Rights without personal interpretations.

Once you read the 2nd Amendment and live through Lincoln you have to read the Dick Act of 1913 to see what has been done to try and water it down. However the Dick Act also made the 2nd Amendment harder to defeat. Many people speak of joining the Militia. If you are over 21 and under 65 and are of good health you is the Militia. That is because the Declaration said you have to be ready to defend your nation. (Perhaps another non-Jeffersonian interpretation.) ;D

This is why we can't get the unity and cohesiveness we need to thwart the actions of a relatively small group of politicos and hard core lefties. We are afraid of that "M" word. We feel that anyone who looks at preparation in light of keeping the Nation and throwing out the Elite media is a whacko. Count me in as a whacko. I kind of like the phrase my Grandmother taught me when I was a kid. "The lord helps those who help themselves,First!". I keep suggesting you all go read the Dick Act of 1913. It was passed to settle the dispute caused by the activating of the state National Guards by Wilson and sending them to France. This was a treasonous act. READ
