I took my two great nieces and my great nephew to vote today. They are too young to actually vote, but they need to learn the soap boxes, just like all of us did many years ago.
I have already taught one niece to shoot, and the next one should be this coming spring.
It will be a couple of years before the nephew is ready to shot.
I also gave each of them a pocket Constitution, and we all learned the Pre-Amble to the Constitution today, by watching it on School House Rock. Youtube is a good tool to teach kids, things like this.
If we want a Republic in the future, we need to teach the children of today, what they will need to know to preserve the Republic and the Constitution.
My nephew now wants to be President. He knows he has to wait till he is at least 36. He also asked what a Natural Born Citizen was. I explained it, and my older niece said "Then Obama can't be President!".
I smile so hard, it hurt a little, and my chest swelled with pride. She wants to be a Marine when she grows up.

There's nothing better than that proud feeling.
Our precinct has never been this busy the precinct workers say. Have been standing outside freezing since 0720 to get a Constitutional Sheriff in office & the has been out the door 70% of the day.
