It isn't hard to see the thin red line that connects the nakedly tribal appeals of the Democratic National Convention with the bloody chaos in the Middle East. Despite Occupy Wall Street's best efforts our kind of tribalism does not involve mobs and gunmen violently attacking other groups, at least not in the formal sense, just representatives of the tribes getting up on the floor of a convention hall and promising that tribal priorities will be upheld through affirmative action and other redistributive schemes that will move more members of the oppressed tribes up the political and economic ladder. sultanknish.blogspot.com/2012/10/american-tribals.html

"The United States has centuries of history behind it, but it cannot survive both an assault on its identity and on its laws at the same time." Agreed and if you do not think we are subject to tribalism here you cannot see the forest from the trees. Look at the breakdown of the maps all the pundits are showing for the upcoming election. The greatest land mass is held by "conservative" or red territory. The "liberal" or blue areas are concentrated in a few states and then around the largest cities in most states. The divide between those is ever so deep and growing and will soon be if it is not already to deep to bridge. Why haven't the rural areas revolted against the "liberal" urban centers already. The progressives are moving to expand their tax structure to make the rural areas pay for the excesses of the urban centers and the current regime is not only currently supporting it but actively pushing it. Everyone must pay their fair share. The time is near America to Secede or Die. Don't reject it until you have fully considered it and then embrace it or reject it as you will. As I said at the PATCON it will be secession by choice now or by inevitability after the collapse. www.mikechurch.com/daily-clip/secession-should-happen-and-it-should-be-on-our-terms/
