The Butt burner is that they do this in your names. When you walked down to the Board of Elections and posted your name as a "Republican" or Democrat, or Independent you by signature gave these Corporations the legal right to do what they are doing. You gave them abd effective "Proxie" to vote for you. Happy Birthday!

Can we register to vote w/o declaring a party? In MI? It depends on what rules are in affect in your state. Some states allow Independants, some do not. Some allow anyone to vote in any primary, and some restrist it to registered voters. 50 different states, 50 different sets of rules.

In MN, you do not declare a Party affiliation when you register to vote. Come to think of it, didn't need to in Texas either.
