I posted a thread earlier on a related article from global guerrillas. I have had many thoughts since that post about the nature of modern warfare. It has been often said that old men wage war while young men die in them. Perhaps the use of drones and the proposed development of autonomous drones is a way to work around the issue of others dying in the war waged by governments. I do not know but it will come to no good end. This is nothing new. Patrick Henry who so eloquently gave his speech which ended in Give me Liberty or Give me Death did not spend one second on a battlefield. This is not meant to denigrate Patrick Henry's contributions to the cause of Liberty but it is just a fact. Five Finger Death Punch is one of the bands my son has exposed me to. They have a song "No One Gets Left Behind" which expresses some thoughts on this subject. Beware the metal sound... www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gcV5xMLFcYThere is a fight coming and possibly even more than during the 1st revolution this one will not be one directed by a group of politicians. It may well be one for survival of the ideals of the founder's thoughts and the Liberties they recognized but it may well be for survival period of those who have a spark of liberty in their heart...

FFDP rocks. The metal/screaming/language is primal...and fits the typical American rage against the system. Yet another example, tho it starts off with a nice mellow bittersweet guitar instrumental, but the metal screaming message rings loud and clear. I have FFDP downloaded onto my hard drive in my car. My son's band is doing well and has a few gigs lined up and they plan to play over the summer and hopefully will have a returning gig in Myrtle Beach. Band members are all good kids who hunt and are familiar with firearms. We regularly discuss liberty and the need to be ready to protect it on a personal level first and a state level next.

Michael Just in case you are thinking this Band business is a passing phase wake up. My boys have been doing the Band since the early 90's and at 39 and 41 still perform, but keep their day jobs to fund the beast. One works for Omega chemical and pharmaceutical, the other works at Goldman Sacks. It gets into the blood worse than a drug.
