I have observed that even within the general ranks of gun owners many are convinced of the idea that we will be defeated should an armed revolt take place. Many of them believe in it so much that they are willing to accept defeat and submit to tyranny. Over many decades they have been beaten down with the idea that "resistance is futile" that their confidence in themselves and others is entirely lacking. I could offer some gun owner websites as proof of my claim, but out of respect for the sites I will suffice to say some are well supported.

If this whole ordeal comes to blows winning won't be easy and it won't be fast. For that matter the cost will also be high due to the damage upon buildings, people, our society and the loss of life on both sides. With that said: When it starts I don't care about the odds, if I die then so be it but I refuse to live life on my knees! When our government crosses the line and starts using unconstitutional force to check the people (ie when civilian bodies start hitting the deck) the rules of the game will change over night. I don't advocate starting this fight, I just fully expect it to come in due time (chances are it will be the ATF or FBI abusing their authority AGAIN). In the end each and every person has to decide what their life is worth. If your life (not yours, i use this term to refer to the sheep out there) is worth more to you than freedom then I hope you enjoy wearing chains. As for me, it's an old saying but just as true now as when it was first said: "Live free or die"
