Take the quiz here: www.americancivicliteracy.org/resources/quiz.aspx America's Report Card In spring 2008, a random sample of Americans took a straightforward test designed to assess each respondent’s “knowledge of America’s founding principles and texts, core history, and enduring institutions”—ISI’s definition of civic literacy. As detailed below, over 70% of Americans failed this basic test of the kind of knowledge required for informed and responsible citizenship. Got a B, but I think some of the questions, especially towards the end, are kinda subjective.

I took it awhile ago, and don't remember my score exactly. Maybe it was 88, I can't be sure, anyway, it wouldn't be fair to take it again.

81.82% FAIL No, That would be called learning... sometimes learning what you don't know is just important as knowing something, it will light little sparks of inquisitiveness that will lead in many directions.

All above average. Good scores.
I got a 97%, but I studied history, journalism and econ as an undergrad. I'm not a very good example of the average american.

Somehow that sentence just didn't come out right... I think a lot of the "Average Americans" on this forum can tangle with a "credentialed" citizen any day and hold their own... Just sayin'
