Over the years in Georgia, there have been a number of thwarted robberies at Waffle Houses due to armed citizens just being on the property. I never go to a Waffle House (or anywhere else for that matter) unarmed.
Would you rather be in this Waffle House...
Or this one... (the cashier involved is still having nightmares)
Would you rather have it end like this... (Waffle House should ENCOURAGE their employees and customers to carry on premise)
Or This... (How about The Waffle House Corp. giving their employees a firearms training course and arm 'em all!)
Would you rather be in this Waffle House...

FBI: Waffle House robbery in Sandy Springs linked to others
Lauren Foreman, 3:17 p.m Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018
A Waffle House in Marietta was robbed Saturday. Then, a location in Sandy Springs was hit Tuesday night.
“We are in touch with the FBI at this time,” Sandy Springs police Sgt. Sam Worsham said.
After a string of robberies at Waffle House restaurants in metro Atlanta, another location was robbed — this time in Sandy Springs.
And the FBI has noticed, as it has with other robberies in the area.
A man came into the restaurant on Northridge Road, pointed a pistol at employees and demanded money from the cash register about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sandy Springs police Sgt. Sam Worsham said.
The robber took the money and ran out of the store. He was wearing a hoodie, red pants, red shoes and purple gloves, police said.

Waffle House Customer Shoots Robber Carrying AK-47
By Nina Golgowski, 07/13/2016 10:09 am ET
Police in Texas say a robbery suspect armed with an AK-47 assault rifle was critically shot last week by a Waffle House customer armed with a handgun.
A robber armed with an AK-47 assault weapon stormed a Texas Waffle House, only to be shot by a pistol-packing customer, police say.
The suspect, whose identity police are still trying to confirm, was in critical condition Monday after last week’s gun battle in a Dallas suburb.
Police say the suspect, believed to be 25 or 26 years old, entered the DeSoto restaurant and robbed the customers and business around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
A concerned customer and licensed handgun holder told police his wife was on her way to meet him at the establishment. Fearing that the armed robber could harm her, he told police that he confronted the gunman in the parking lot.

Waffle House Employee Fired After Using Gun in Self-Defense
By Tiffani Grey, January 3, 2017 at 4:47pm
In Georgia, a woman was fired after doing one of the most American things possible: exercising her Second Amendment right to self-defense during a robbery.
At a Waffle House restaurant, a waitress discharged her firearm in self-defense when the restaurant came under attack by three men. According to the Newnan Times-Herald, the men ate a meal and then instead of paying gave the cashier a note warning that everyone in the building would be shot if the cashier did not hand over all of the money in the register.
According to Fox News the robbers departed after another waitress gave them $200.
After the men left, cash in hand, the waitress, Heather “Shorty” Burkinshaw-Stanley, reportedly ran to her car and grabbed her handgun, firing it into the air to keep the robbers from coming back.
