Notice after they were caught red handed yet again, they ran the 'correction' in the 'commentary' section and not on the main pages were they first put forth this trash, and that's how they keep it going; put it out on the front page and 'correct' it in editorial, if they correct it at all... F-ing anti-American scumbags.
ANYTHING concerning the Second Amendment that is put forth by the washington post or the CDC should already be immediately suspect, as both have shown an absolute negative bias towards gun rights and the Second Amendment Right in general.
How news organizations, including this one, unintentionally misinformed the public on guns

Steve Doud, a subscriber from Plano, emailed me to say he’d read something in the June 21 Dallas Morning News that couldn’t possibly be true.
An eight-paragraph Washington Post article on page 10A reported on a national study about kids and guns. The last sentence said 4.2 percent of American kids have witnessed a shooting in the past year.
“Really?” Doud wrote. “Does it really sound believable that one kid out of every 24 has witnessed a shooting in the last year? I think not, unless it was on TV, in a movie, or in a video game. In that case it would probably be more like 100 percent.”
His instincts were right. The statistic was not.

And yet again; when caught red-handed concocting and/or pushing a known fake story, instead of some introspection on their corrupt pratices, the AP and other peddlers of lies double down and try to obfuscate their behavior and blame it on the target of their attacks...
Retracted CNN story a boon for president at war with media
By DAVID BAUDER, 28 Jun 2017
NEW YORK (AP) — For a president seemingly at perpetual war with “fake news,” the resignation of three CNN journalists over a retracted story about a Donald Trump Russian connection is a gift from the political gods when the struggling effort to pass a health bill dominates the headlines.
The White House quickly took advantage Tuesday with blistering presidential tweets and a media scolding at the afternoon press briefing. Conservative provocateur James O’Keefe piled on by releasing a video with a CNN producer caught on camera talking about the network’s Russia coverage being ratings-driven.
