Spending bill language omits border wall funding, sanctuary cities crackdownPublished May 01, 2017 Fox News Republican and Democratic lawmakers forged a $1.07 trillion spending package that would fund the government through the end of September, but does not include some of President Trump’s cornerstone promises including funding for a border wall or funding cuts to sanctuary cities. The proposed legislation has no funding for Trump’s oft-promised wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, but does set aside $1.5 billion for border security measures such as additional detention beds. It does give Trump a $12.5 billion down payment on his request to strengthen the military, a figure which could rise to $15 billion should Trump present Congress with a plan for fighting the Islamic State terror group. The proposed $15 billion amounts to half of Trump's original $30 billion request. Trump said at nearly every campaign stop last year that Mexico would pay for the proposed 2,000-mile border wall, a claim Mexican leaders have broadly rejected. The White House sought nearly $1.4 billion in taxpayer dollars for the wall and related costs in the spending bill, but Trump later relented and said the issue could wait until September. With language about the border wall omitted, Democratic leaders praised the effort. www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/05/01/spending-bill-language-omits-border-wall-funding-sanctuary-cities-crackdown.html

You Republicans must be so proud of your party, after fighting tooth and nail for 8+ years just to hold on to what you have left and this is what YOUR politicians give you in return.
When will you Conservatives fully understand that the GOP (and Republicans as a whole) have abandoned you, the Republicans are nothing but a buncha DemocRat Lite Globalist boot-lickers who will give the 'leadership' a pass as long as they have that little (R) next to their name. No? then where's the resistance? Where are the millions that are gonna hold the traitorous scumbags accountable?
Oh thats right, "Politicians are all dirtbags... well except for mine."
I saw citizens pouring into the streets in protest against the Obama governments unconstitutional actions and policies, but now that a Republican is in charge... nary a peep, instead they now WILLINGLY bend over and spead those cheeks.

US signs international declaration on climate change despite Trump's past statementsCONOR FINNEGAN, May 12, 2017 While President Trump has talked tough in the past about his skeptical views on climate change, his administration appears to be taking a more cautious approach to the issue on the world stage in the early days of his presidency. U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson signed a document today calling climate change a “serious threat” to the Arctic and noting the need for action to reduce its potentially harmful effects. The document, known as the Fairbanks Declaration, concluded Tillerson's chairing of a meeting of the Arctic Council, a board made up of indigenous groups and the eight countries bordering the Arctic, in Fairbanks, Alaska. While the council only has the power to issue advisories, the language in the statement signed by Tillerson comes in stark contrast to statements and promises made by President Trump about climate change. Trump has repeatedly called into question the science behind climate change, even calling it a "very expensive hoax." During his 2016 campaign, Trump promised to pull out of the Paris accord and his administration has ordered cuts to funding for climate science and has slashed environmental regulations. www.yahoo.com/gma/us-signs-international-declaration-climate-change-despite-trumps-004206189--abc-news-topstories.html

Although there is still no movement on the Promised "Day One" items, they do have some scraps for the lemmings to chew on... GOP Wins in Reversing Obama-Era Rules on Guns, EnvironmentSunday, 14 May 2017 03:55 PM Final score: Republicans 14, Barack Obama's last-minute regulations, one. Congressional Republicans anxious to show voters they can get something done are hailing their reversal of more than a dozen Obama-era regulations on guns, the internet and the environment. Over a few months, lawmakers used an obscure legislative rule to ram through changes that will have far-reaching implications for the coal industry, broadband customers, hunters and women seeking health care at Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers. The deadline for scuttling the rules that Democrat Obama imposed during his final months in office was last Thursday. The 1996 Congressional Review Act had given Republicans the power to make the changes with a simple majority, within a set time. While the rest of Washington focused on the furor over President Donald Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey, Republicans were celebrating their effort to reverse the rules, arguing that it would boost the economy and make it easier for businesses to operate. www.newsmax.com/Politics/US-Republicans-Reversing-Obama/2017/05/14/id/790045/

The users and abusers are still gonna get 'theirs'... Trump's food stamp cuts face hard sell in CongressMay 24, 10:06 AM EDT, By MARY CLARE JALONICK WASHINGTON (AP) President Donald Trump's proposal to slash food stamps by a third will be a hard sell in Congress, even as Republicans have tried repeatedly to scale back the program's $70 billion annual cost. Democrats will oppose any changes to the program, which is designed as a temporary safety net for Americans who find themselves unable to adequately feed themselves or their families. Many Republicans, too, have been wary to overhaul food stamps, even as participation has more than doubled. Trump's proposal could have a disproportionate effect on Republican-leaning states - seven of the 10 states with the highest food stamp participation supported Trump. Republicans are still eying cuts to the program, but none as large as what Trump has proposed. hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_TRUMP_BUDGET_FOOD_STAMPS?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2017-05-23-20-50-22

For those keeping tabs, the Republicans are dragging their ass 'cause thats what statists do, they have no frigging skin in the game and could care less about 'the peoples' agenda. Here's a short incomplete list of 'Day One' items STILL on the back burner: Repeal of the unconstitutional Obama/Trumpcare... Nope, The Republicans are too busy hawking their own UNCONSTITUTIONAL plan. Tax Reform... What a frigging joke, ALL you hear from Republicans now is AFTER Obama/Trumpcare 'reform'. Cancellation of all unconstitution Executive Orders... Nope, instead the stack has been growing, cancelling one unconstitutional order while adding another is not the way it is done. Building of the border wall... Nope, mired in bureaucracy and politics. Reversing DACA... Nope the illegals are still embedded like a ticks on the veins of U.S. Taxpayers. Terrorist Nation 'travel' Ban... Nope, we're importing more muzzys than ever. Trump is even pulling obamas's slack by importing 'unverifiable' muzzys that Australia doesn't want. Killing funding for sactuary cities... Nope, the illegals protection 'movement' is still going strong, the only entities taking action are the states, but I fully expect the federal judicial system to put an end to that very soon. Draining of the 'swamp'... Nope, the DOJ, FBI, CIA, NSA, DEA, ATF, IRS and defense departments are all in shambles and are clearly out of their constitutional shackles, yet not one person has been held accountable, oh Comey and Lerner being 'fired'? Yeah that lifelong taxpayer paid pension and benefits are sure gonna teach them a good lesson on using the government as a weapon against its citizens. Why sure, every now and then you GOP sycophants get some scraps to show you lemmings that they're doing such a good job; like pulling out of the TPP 'treaty' which we had yet to sign and pass, pulling out of a climate 'treaty' that had not been properly approved and passed. GOP running out of time for legislative achievementsBy ERICA WERNER, Jun 5, 3:55 AM EDT WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Donald Trump and his GOP allies on Capitol Hill have made it through nearly half their first year in power without a single major legislative achievement. If that's going to change, it will have to start soon, a reality that Republican lawmakers will confront when they return to the Capitol on Monday from a weeklong break. "We just need to work harder," the second-ranking Republican senator, John Cornyn of Texas, said in an interview with KFYO radio in Lubbock, Texas, over the recess. hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_CONGRESS_UNFINISHED_BUSINESS?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2017-06-03-11-54-48

Yet Trump steadfastly refuses to fire those responsible for continuing the unconstitutional actions/stonewalling in multiple agencies now under HIS admin... Obama's scandals are fast becoming Trump's scandals.
Again, why should a citizens group have to file a lawsuit to compel an agency to follow the law under Trump's 'drain the swamp' admin? No one immediately fired or compelled to comply equals Trumps agreement with or acquiescence of such unlawful behavior...

To date, the Trump Admin has not prosecuted ONE of the obstructionists and criminals. Every single department had scandals under Obama and Trump PROMISED to drain this corrupt cesspool... show me the money! Judicial Watch: Obama NSC Advisor Susan Rice’s Unmasking Material is at Obama LibraryRecords Sought by Judicial Watch May Remain Closed to the Public for Five YearsJudicial Watch, JUNE 19, 2017 (Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today announced that the National Security Council (NSC) on May 23, 2017, informed it by letter that the materials regarding the unmasking by Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice of “the identities of any U.S. citizens associated with the Trump presidential campaign or transition team” have been removed to the Obama Library. The NSC will not fulfill an April 4 Judicial Watch request for records regarding information relating to people “who were identified pursuant to intelligence collection activities.” The agency also informed Judicial Watch that it would not turn over communications with any Intelligence Community member or agency concerning the alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election; the hacking of DNC computers; or the suspected communications between Russia and Trump campaign/transition officials. Specifically, the NSC told Judicial Watch: Documents from the Obama administration have been transferred to the Barack Obama Presidential Library. You may send your request to the Obama Library. However, you should be aware that under the Presidential Records Act, Presidential records remain closed to the public for five years after an administration has left office. White House to Negotiate Tax Overhaul Behind Closed DoorsWednesday, 21 Jun 2017 04:50 PM The White House plans to privately negotiate a massive overhaul of the tax system with Republican leaders in Congress, possibly giving rank-and-file members little if any say over the finished product, according to a top aide to President Donald Trump. Gary Cohn, Trump's top economic aide, said Tuesday the administration doesn't want to engage in prolonged negotiations after the package is made public this fall. Cohn said the goal is to release the overhaul in the first two weeks of September. "We don't want to be negotiating the tax bill on the floor," Cohn said at a meeting of technology executives. www.newsmax.com/Finance/StreetTalk/Donald-Trump-tax-reform-Gary-Cohn-Congress/2017/06/21/id/797476/

The Way Congress Is Handling Health Care Shows Why They Only Have A 17 Percent Approval RatingBy Michael Snyder, on June 22nd, 2017 The Senate health care bill was unveiled on Thursday, and it appears to be dead on arrival. At least four conservative senators say that they can’t vote for the current version because it doesn’t go far enough, while several moderate Republicans are expressing concerns that it goes too far in repealing popular Obamacare provisions. You can read the full text of the bill here. Since Democrats are going to be united in voting against any bill that the Republicans put forward, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell can only lose two Republican votes if he wants something to pass. I don’t know how that is going to be possible, and so in the end we may be stuck with Obamacare for the foreseeable future and that would be a total disaster. It is astounding to me that Republicans don’t want to pass the exact same clean Obamacare repeal bill that they got to Obama’s desk in 2016. If they got that same bill to Trump’s desk, he would sign it. Instead of trying to do everything at once, just repeal Obamacare and then start working on various pieces of the health care system one at a time. According to Real Clear Politics, Congress currently has an average approval rating of just 17.6 percent. It is an institution that has failed the American people over and over again, and we are never going to move things in a positive direction in this country until we do something to clean up that cesspool of filth and corruption. If we truly want to fix health care in this country, we need to rebuild the entire system from the ground up based on free market principles. But of course the bill that was just unveiled in the Senate simply tries to patch up the system we already have, and that ultimately won’t work… theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/the-way-congress-is-handling-health-care-shows-why-they-only-have-a-17-percent-approval-rating

GOP Lemmings just shrug and go back to sleep... Republicans Are Big-Government Party TooMona Charen, Jun 30, 2017 12:01 AM We now have the answer to a question that has hung in the air for months: Why did the Republican leadership not have an Obamacare repeal-and-replace plan on the shelf and ready to go the minute the election went their way? Why didn't they use the time since the law's 2010 passage to craft the Republican alternative? The charitable answer would be: Because vetoes are daunting, big policy changes are difficult, big parties have incompatible factions and presidential leadership is critical. The real answer is that Republicans were bluffing. Like the Democrats, they are a big-government party -- just less honest about it. townhall.com/columnists/monacharen/2017/06/30/republicans-are-biggovernment-party-too-n2348598

I guess Trump will 'Drain This Swamp' by moving the swampitizens to another swamp... and from the Republican lemmings? (crickets chirping) Official Who Released Criminal Aliens into U.S. for Obama Now Directing ICEby Brandon Darby & Ildefonso Ortiz1 Jul 2017 I note your rigorous defense of Homan, but someone in ICE leadership made the decision to carryout policies that posed a real threat to U.S. citizens. A career employee made the decision to carry out the policy of ordering the release of tens of thousands of criminal illegal aliens, some of them murderers and sex offenders. These criminals were released into U.S. communities. “My boss told me to” is not a defense in regard to such extreme circumstances. Honorable men and women resign, sound an alarm to Congress, or otherwise attempt to take advantage of whistleblower protections before putting U.S. citizens at risk with such policies. They do not follow orders that any reasonable person would know will result in harm to U.S. citizens so that they can keep their job or continue a forward trajectory in their career. In such a circumstance, “I had to follow the order if I wanted to keep my job” fails to rise to the level of a reasonable defense. www.breitbart.com/texas/2017/07/01/official-released-criminal-aliens-u-s-obama-now-directing-ice/

And from the Republicans... (crickets chirping) Trump’s ICE Director Helped Author Obama’s Immigration Priorities and Executive Orders, Praised Themby Brandon Darby, 10 Jul 2017 The Obama-holdover chosen by DHS Secretary John Kelly to direct Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for the Trump Administration helped author Obama’s controversial immigration priorities and executive orders, and he also publicly praised them. Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan made the comments on video shortly before the 2016 presidential election at a time when most thought Hillary Clinton would win, but Donald Trump won and now Homan claims to be an immigration hawk. Trump’s campaign largely centered around opposing former President Barack Obama’s executive orders on immigration and the release of criminal illegal aliens into U.S. communities. Acting ICE Director Homan was the Enforcement and Removal Director (ERO) for President Obama and even received an elite award from the former president for his efforts on immigration. Homan has come under fire from the ICE Council for being Obama’s official who oversaw Obama’s release of tens of thousands of criminal illegal aliens into the U.S. www.breitbart.com/texas/2017/07/10/trumps-ice-director-helped-author-obamas-immigration-priorities-executive-orders-praised/?

Yes, It's Over2017-07-29 07:00 by Karl Denninger The GOP-led Senate "decided" by one vote (John McCain's, I remind you) to kill the "skinny" Obamacare repeal bill. This, after McCain said he'd vote for it if he got an assurance from Paul Ryan that the bill would go to conference and not simply be passed as-is and sent to Trump. Paul Ryan gave him that assurance, and then he voted "No" anyway. I remind you that John McCain does not have to live with the results of Obamacare. He never did. Nor did anyone else in the House or Senate, because despite a provision being inserted into the original Bill that forced Congress to live under Obamacare's rules President Obama directed OPM to illegally subsidize members' insurance and their staff. He had no legal authority to do that but he did it anyway. I also remind you that President Trump has not rescinded this unlawful order. market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=232274

And the TRUMP Admin continues to pervert and subvert the FOIA rules & regulations in the exact same manner that obama did... and from the Republicans? (crickets chirping) Federal Government, HHS, DOJ: Gaming the Freedom of Info Systemby sattkisson on August 4, 2017 In addition to the active lawsuit I have in federal court over the intrusion into my government computers, I have been litigating several of the many failed government responses to lawful Freedom of Information Act requests. I’m giving up on one of them as of this week. It’s my request for public material the government withheld after the disastrous launch of Obamacare in 2013 when I was reporting on the topic for CBS News. We have learned, among other things, that federal officials gave incorrect and misleading information to the public and under oath to Congress regarding serious security failures in development and testing of the national website and system, and other important topics. Read some of my Obamacare reports here When the government stonewalled on releasing documents and information that would get at the truth, I filed Freedom of Information Act requests for the material. When the stonewalling dragged on, I filed a lawsuit in federal court. The judge agreed the material must be provided, but allowed the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to come up with a “rolling production schedule” that would trickle out highly-redacted and useless documents over a period of years. Remember, the government is required to provide the information under Freedom of Information requests in about 30 days. sharylattkisson.com/federal-government-hhs-doj-gaming-the-freedom-of-info-system/

Trump aides plot a big immigration deal — that breaks a campaign promiseBy Anita Kumar, August 22, 2017 12:01 AM Donald Trump’s top aides are pushing him to protect young people brought into the country illegally as children — and then use the issue as a bargaining chip for a larger immigration deal — despite the president’s campaign vow to deport so-called Dreamers. The White House officials want Trump to strike an ambitious deal with Congress that offers Dreamers protection in exchange for legislation that pays for a border wall and more detention facilities, curbs legal immigration and implements E-verify, an online system that allows businesses to check immigration status, according to a half-dozen people familiar with situation, most involved with the negotiations. The group includes former and current White House chiefs of staff, Reince Priebus and John Kelly, the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, who both serve as presidential advisers, they said. Others who have not been as vocal publicly about their stance but are thought to agree include Vice President Mike Pence, who as a congressman worked on a failed immigration deal that called for citizenship, National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster and Gary Cohn, a Democrat who serves as director of the National Economic Council. “They are holding this out as a bargaining chip for other things,” said Ira Mehlman, a spokesman with the Federation for American Immigration Reform, a group that opposes protecting Dreamers and is in talks with the administration. www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/white-house/article168425547.html

Groups: Justice court filings defy Trump promises on religious freedomBy John Solomon - 08/23/17 06:51 PM EDT With national television cameras rolling, President Trump surrounded himself in the Rose Garden this spring with faith leaders as he signed an executive order protecting Catholic employers from ObamaCare’s birth control mandate and protecting clergy from IRS punishment if they gave political speeches from the pulpit. “We will not allow people of faith to be targeted, bullied or silenced anymore,” the beaming president declared May 9 as he delivered on one of his seminal campaign promises. But three months later, lawyers working for Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the Justice Department have filed legal briefs that religious liberty advocates say undercut or delay Trump’s order. thehill.com/homenews/administration/347728-groups-justice-court-filings-defy-trump-promises-on-religious-freedom

Congressional aides risk conflicts with stock tradesSenior staffers buy and sell shares in companies that benefit from legislation in their committees. By MAGGIE SEVERNS, 09/25/2017 05:06 AM EDT, Updated 09/25/2017 11:57 AM EDT On Sept. 28, 2016, three members of the Senate Judiciary Committee sent a letter to the Justice Department suggesting that the drug company Mylan was violating Medicaid laws. Nine days later, the Justice Department reached a massive $465 million settlement with the firm. In between, another action happened almost invisibly: A Judiciary Committee aide to Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) dropped somewhere between $4,004 and $60,000 in Mylan stock from his and his child’s portfolios. If an aide had done the same thing in the executive branch, he or she could be investigated for violating federal conflict-of-interest law. But the Durbin aide’s ownership of shares of Mylan, and their timely sale, are reflective of Congress’ persistent refusal to crack down on stock trading by staffers, even in firms overseen by their committees. www.politico.com/story/2017/09/25/congress-aides-stock-market-trades-investments-analysis-242692

Yup, remember all those Republican re-election promises... no business as usual, no more CR's, no more debt increases, we're gonna do what needs to be done, we're gonna FINALLY get a formal budget completed and submitted... no, no their not... and it's back to business as usual. And the GOP sheep just bray and stick their lazy heads back in the grass. Warning signs emerge in GOP's tax reform pushBy Jordain Carney and Naomi Jagoda - 10/06/17 06:00 AM EDT The GOP’s push for tax-reform legislation is showing some early signs of trouble. With Republicans pivoting to their second big agenda item, leadership is facing a familiar dynamic: Divisions among members, competing demands and no room for error. Republicans have failed to score a major legislative win this year despite having the first unified GOP government in a decade. And they’re under intense pressure from both supporters and outside groups to meet their self-imposed deadline of passing tax reform this year. The move would hand the party a major accomplishment to tout heading into the 2018 midterm elections. Both the House and Senate took steps this week toward that goal. The House cleared its 2018 fiscal year budget, with 18 Republicans joining Democrats in voting against it. Meanwhile, the Senate Budget Committee advanced its own measure along party lines. The fiscal blueprint will unlock a procedure allowing Republicans to bypass a filibuster and pass tax legislation through the Senate with 51 votes. But key lawmakers are warning that while the budget is a necessary first step, they still have a long way to go before getting a bill to President Trump’s desk. thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/354162-warning-signs-emerge-in-gops-tax-reform-push

No one has been prosecuted, fired or even spoken harshly to. The two previous IRS commissioners have already perjured themselves before congress and still have no criminal reprecussions. Matter of fact TRUMPS DOJ dropped ALL charges/investigations into Lerner for the corruption and targeting she did to fellow Americans. So now you Republican lemmings get to 'pay' the generous 'settlement' for these corrupt government scumbags as they live out the rest of their lives outside of a prison cell and still receive their govt funded pension... Feds Apologize, Will Pay ‘Generous’ Settlement to Tea Party Groups for Illegal TargetingBy Andrew Kerr, October 26, 2017 at 10:25am The IRS on Thursday settled two lawsuits alleging the agency illegally targeted conservative groups under the Obama administration. One of the settlements stipulated the IRS issue a formal apology for illegally singling out conservative and tea party groups due to their political beliefs dating back to 2013. The other settlement, a class-action lawsuit brought by the NorCal Tea Party with 428 members, includes a “generous” multi-million dollar payout, according to a lawyer involved. “There is no excuse for this conduct,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement. “Hundreds of organizations were affected by these actions, and they deserve an apology from the IRS.” www.westernjournalism.com/feds-apologize-will-pay-generous-settlement-to-tea-party-groups-for-illegal-targeting/

As usual, members of congress will not be subject to this scheme, they will get their padded 'COLAs' on schedule and without fail. And you GOP sychophants actually thought the Republicans were gonna give back some of your stolen funds, even with their constant and visible corruption; I have no doubt that most of you would vote for these same criminals again, just because they have that little R next to their name. If it was Obama and the socialist DemocRats doing this, there would be such screaming and gnashing of teeth from the right, but since it's the Republicrats; it's crickets chirping again... such goes the life of a friggin low-information retard. House Republicans sneak in ‘hidden tax increase’ each year by changing cost-of-living calculationBy Stephen Dinan, The Washington Times, Sunday, November 5, 2017 Buried amid the deductions and credits, House Republicans have made a major shift in tax policy that will mean an escalating tax increase on every American taxpayer over the ensuing decades. Republican tax-writers have decided to shift the tax code’s inflation index from the Consumer Price Index, or CPI, to something known as chained CPI, which is a slower-growing method of calculating cost-of-living increases. Using the lower rate of inflation to calculate future tax rates means taxpayers will more quickly fall into higher tax brackets, meaning they will pay more in taxes than if Republicans stuck with the traditional measuring stick. It works out to taxpayers paying $128 billion more to Uncle Sam than they would otherwise over the next decade, and $500 billion more in the subsequent decade. www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/nov/5/tax-bills-chained-cpi-sneaks-in-rate-hikes/

Although she and many other traitors should have already been swinging from D.C. lamp posts, she and the other culprits still run free with generous government pensions for their actions in subverting the Constitution and the Law
I fully expect the Federal beast to try and cover it's own back by sealing everything it does. Matter of fact, .Gov pretty much does that right now, as they simultaneously attempt to weaken the 'Freedom Of Information Request' laws.
Yup, Trump was oh so quick to fully release the Oath Breakers involved in the IRS scandal from all legal liability... Hmm, wonder what is behind the scenes on that one?
