New figures show over 900,000 suppressors in circulation8/10/16 | by Chris Eger Data released by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives this week show a big jump in National Firearms Act items to include a 14 percent rise in the number of suppressors and a nearly 18 percent bump in short barreled rifles registered. The information comes from the new Firearms Commerce Report, which also contains information about domestic firearms manufacturing, as well as the importation and exportation of firearms. Sweeping in its context, the report gives the public a rare glimpse into the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record, which is the federal list of all items, such as suppressors, SBRs, short-barreled shotguns, destructive devices and any other weapons logged under the NFA as of February 2016. Comparing last year’s report with the new information shows the aggregate number of NFA items of all kinds have climbed to 4,436,096, adding over a quarter million devices to the registry in a twelve-month period from February 2015... www.guns.com/2016/08/10/new-figures-show-over-900000-suppressors-in-circulation/

If everybody gets in the fight, we can get rid of ALL unconstitutional infringements. Gotta start somewhere, so how about getting get rid of a few Federal Infringents first... Such as the 1934 National Firearms Act, the 1938 Federal Firearms Act, the 1968 Gun Control Act, the 1986 Firearms Owners' Protection Act, the 1990 Crime Control Act, 1994 Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act ...Then we can start to strengthen the Second Amendment. Top 10 States for Machine Gun Ownershipby AWR Hawkins, 25 Aug 2016 The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) recently released a report highlighting state-by-state ownership of guns regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA) of 1934. Firearms and accessories covered under the NFA (hereafter: NFA-registered firearms) include machine guns, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, silencers/suppressors, certain explosive devices, etc. Because the focus is on NFA-registered firearms, the ATF report excludes handguns — which are certainly the firearm of choice in America — and many semi-automatic rifles and shotguns. This may actually provide a better understanding of gun ownership because of these exclusions. After all, if Americans own millions upon millions of less popular guns, who knows how many of the most popular are in their possession? CBS News provided a summary of the ATF report from which the top 10 states for NFA-related gun ownership emerge. www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2016/08/25/top-10-states-machine-gun-ownership/
