First I believe that under the given rules a new state has to ask the congress for approval to be admit ed to the union and thus be granted representation based upon population in the house and then have two senators. I for one believe that there is little chance they would allow this to happen unless they thought they had something to gain from the new Representatives. I on the other hand would prefer to see a vote on secession from the union entirely. They would have nothing to approve of...
