By Russell Berman - 07/17/13 12:25 PM ET
Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Wednesday offered an endorsement for a proposal to grant citizenship to children who were brought to the U.S. illegally by their parents.
"This is about basic fairness," Boehner said one week after convening a two-hour meeting to discuss immigration with his conference.

McConnell Silent on Defunding Obamacare in CR, Says Senate GOP 'United' Against Obamacare
July 26, 2013 - 5:14 PM, By Elizabeth Harrington
(CNSNews.com) - Although his office would not say whether Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is advising his GOP colleagues to oppose a plan by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) to defund Obamacare through a must-pass continuing resolution funding measure, the Senate Minority Leader's office did say that his party is "united" in getting rid of the unpopular health care law.

King joins 'ole RINO Christie with the drumbeat... Libertarians are a Danger.
Rep. Peter King: Libertarians in GOP Risk Destroying Party Sunday, 28 Jul 2013 02:04 PM, By Greg Richter
If Republicans don't quash the libertarian streak shown recently by some of their members they risk following the destructive lead of Democrats in the 1960s, says GOP Rep. Peter King of New York.
"When you have Rand Paul actually comparing [NSA leaker Edward] Snowden to Martin Luther King or Henry David Thoreau, this is madness," King said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union." "This is the anti-war left-wing Democrats of the 1960s that nominated George McGovern and destroyed their party for almost 20 years. I don't want that happening to our party."

'Moderate' Republicans killing the party
July 28, 2013, By: Anthony Martin
Many conservatives warned incessantly prior to 2012 that if the Republican Party picked another moderate like John McCain in 2008, they would make the Party pay a heavy price and simply stay home in protest.
Apparently, they succeeded.
Republicans turned away several good conservative candidates and chose instead a northeastern establishment moderate by the name of Mitt Romney. As far back as 2008 when Romney ran for the GOP nomination the first time, conservatives informed Party leaders that he would be unacceptable to them based upon his past support for gun control, abortion, and other matters that sour the stomachs of conservatives.
That warning was repeated in 2012, but to no avail. Republicans chose Romney anyway, over the objections of millions of grassroots conservatives.
And millions of them sat out the general election in November of that year in protest.

Inside Boehner's Strategy to Slow Walk Immigration to the Finish LineHouse leaders put off immigration votes until after August recess, seeing delay as the best way to pass reform.By Chris Frates, July 30, 2013, 6:00 a.m. Keeping immigration on the back-burner helps avoid a recess filled with angry town-hall meetings reminiscent of the heated August 2009 protests where the backlash against health care reform coalesced. Doing nothing also starves Democrats of a target, Republicans argue. "August was a central part of our discussions. People don't want to go home and get screamed at," a House GOP leadership aide said. Instead, they'll go home and talk about the need to stop government overreach, trying to draw voters' attention back to the now largely dormant IRS controversy and the dismantling of Obamacare, a message that plays well with the Republican base. But more than that, Republicans say, the delay in dealing with immigration helps them internally. www.nationaljournal.com/congress/inside-boehner-s-strategy-to-slow-walk-immigration-to-the-finish-line-20130730

I wrote this before and people still need to understand it. What is the alternatives? Whether due to stupidity, criminality, or just plain laziness we the people have allowed 12 plus million undocumented non-american, and some of which are anti-american, people to enter into our nation and join our society and our work force. Now what?! The alternatives are few. 1. We begin to hunt them down like Hitler did in Europe. The storage problem and human sorrow factors are not very pleasing to the senses and collective consciousness. Especially since they are of every hue in the rainbow and have since arrival made babies who ARE documented workers through our courts and our hospitals. 2. We reduce their numbers by giving them a citizenship card every time we find them and them start arresting them for tax evasion. 3. We start arresting employers every time we find an undocumented worker. This will quickly fill up our jails and dry up the labor market. Probably have some negative effect of the food markets. If we built a fence 100' high around this country will it be used to keep illegal aliens out or us in? The Powers that be are using this fear of the alien to get us ready for the Civil war they want to control with resources so when it ends they will again be in charge.

Schumer: House's Piecemeal Immigration Strategy 'OK by Us'
by Matthew Boyle 7 Aug 2013
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), a member of the Senate's Gang of Eight, told CNN on Wednesday that he thinks the House GOP's plan to approach immigration reform through piecemeal legislation is acceptable since the bills will simply be combined in conference.
"We would much prefer a big comprehensive bill but any way that the House can get there is okay by us," Schumer said. "I actually am optimistic that we will get this done. I've had a lot of discussions with members of both parties in the House. Things are moving in the right direction."

Republicans Avoiding August Town Halls by Tony Lee 15 Aug 2013 Republican lawmakers are running away from town halls in August. In a New York Times piece about the frustrations of one citizen activist in Texas, some prominent Republicans who have not held an August town hall are listed. They include: Rep. Rodney Davis (R-IL); Rep. Tim Griffin (R-AK); Rep. John Kline (R-MN); Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn (R-TX); Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), the chair of the House Rules Committee; Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC); and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA), who has "not announced any town halls but did participate in them in 2009." The Times profiled Katrina Pierson, a fierce Tea Party activist from the Dallas, Texas area who traveled across the state for Ted Cruz in 2012. She and Tea Party activists in Dallas have made fake milk cartons with the faces of Cornyn and Sessions on them to urge both to meet their constituents at least once. www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/08/14/Republicans-Running-Away-from-August-Town-Halls Marco Rubio and the immigration surrenderBy: John Hayward, August 15th, 2013 at 04:39 PM Of all the arguments advanced in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens, perhaps the most outrageous came from Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) during a radio interview on Tuesday. Outrage should not be exclusively directed at Rubio, because what he said is very possibly true. And outrage should not be limited to the immigration issue, because what Rubio said will prove true of many other issues as well. This is call-to-arms, fife-and-drum stuff. The question is whether there are enough American patriots left to hear the music, and answer. Rubio warned that if a comprehensive immigration bill is not passed by Republicans, he believes “this President will be tempted, if nothing happens in Congress, he will be tempted to issue an executive order like he did for the DREAM Act kids a year ago, where he basically legalizes 11 million people by the sign of a pen. Now, we won’t get an E-Verify, we won’t get any border security. But he’ll legalize them.” As related by Politico, Rubio went on to describe a terrible checkmate in which the American people are left with no choice but to start passing citizenship papers around, pronto: www.redstate.com/2013/08/15/marco-rubio-and-the-immigration-surrender/

Penny1212 4:05 AM EST Mr. Rubio, what words can you offer the exterminator of my home for the past ten years? You see, when I thanked him and told him I'd see him next month, he informed me that Friday was his "last day." Then, he explained that his company had hired an illegal alien to replace him, just one of several the company planned on hiring. Outraged, I told the exterminator he needed to get a lawyer immediately, whereupon he stared me straight in the eye and said, "Lady, where am I going to get the money to hire a lawyer." Don't you get it, Mr. Rubio? We have able-bodied men and women who don't belong on disability and welfare but instead need the dignity of a job, no matter how menial you may think the job is. Now, this unemployed exterminator, a black American who has a family to feed, has been replaced by someone who disrespected our nation's sovereignty, someone you now want to reward with amnesty (amnesty by any other name is still amnesty). Truth is a always relevant to your opinion.
What do you expect from a party that uses tricks like forcing delegates to drive around the city of Tampa to keep an outside candidate from being selected.
The two parties should become the Republicrats and the Demopublicans. They are both bought and paid for by the same people and owe their lifestyles to them.
We the people need to restart this at grass roots level in any organization that is NOT a Corporation and able to be owned.
Then we need to start bringing charges of Treason and Sedition against the members who vote for statutes that violate their oaths of Office.
