A Representative Republic No More

While we are otherwise occupied with current events, ie. the Boston bombing and the Texas explosion, they continue their transgressions against Liberty. While we write, call, email and post Liberty continues to fade and the republic is lost. While we pat each other on the back for victories like the defeat of the anti-gun legislation they continue to tighten our shackles and sell our children and grandchildren into complete and utter servitude. No matter what bone they toss you in the appearance of a victory never forget they mean to enslave you and all who come after you until you are nothing more than a servant to the state. While working within the system to defeat such monstrous acts is laudable understand that the system is utterly broken and there is no chance of voting or petitioning our way out of this mess and yet we must still fight to slow their destruction of the republic.
I for one will no longer bow to their will and recognize any law that does not serve Jefferson's definition of Rightful Liberty.
One of my son's home school projects was to read and think about Jefferson's definition of rightful Liberty and then put it in his own words. His answer was this. "Each person has the right to act as he sees fit as long as it does not infringe upon the rights of another. Government's laws for the most part restrict the rights of the individual in the hopes of protecting the good of the whole."
Or as Spock put it in the Wrath of Khan, ''The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or one''?
It ain't rocket science... Resist by any and ll means possible.
