Luckily in America you have Rights and freedom of movement... Well, at least when the Government lets you. Why residents in some American states may soon need a passport for domestic air travelBy James Draper, Published: 10:09 EDT, 17 October 2017 | Updated: 14:54 EDT, 17 October 2017 Residents of some US states will soon require additional ID, such as passports, if they wish to embark on air travel - even if just domestically They were previously allowed to use mere driving licenses. But residents of some US states will soon require additional ID, such as passports, if they wish to embark on air travel - even if just domestically. That's the new procedure on the horizon for people from states that have not yet introduced the standards required by the 2005 Real ID Act, which demands stricter regulations for state-issued IDs. The states that haven't yet fallen into line each now have a grace period of three months to meet the revised criteria. This deadline expires on 22 January 2018. www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-4988598/Americans-soon-need-passport-domestic-flights.html

Another one we have been warning about for years; To all of those people that just sat on their asses when this could have been defeated, here ya go... the National ID card has finally been implemented... No, It's just a Drivers License you say?
This ID scheme has been forced on the states for years, under the threat of denying federal funds, in order to 'standardize' all state ID's to federal standards... so yes it is your State Drivers License and it is also your National ID Card.
For now the Federal Government is only decreeing it must be used for flying... for now.
