Ultra-Secrecy Surrounds Barack Obama’s New Global Economic TreatyBy Michael Snyder, on May 5th, 2015 Barack Obama is secretly negotiating a global economic treaty which would destroy thousands of American businesses and millions of good paying American jobs. In other words, it would be the final nail in the coffin for America’s economic infrastructure. Obama knows that if the American people actually knew what was in this treaty that they would be screaming mad, so the negotiations are being done in secret. The only people that are allowed to look at the treaty are members of Congress, and even they are being banned from saying anything to the public. American workers are about to be brutally stabbed in the back, and thanks to all of this secrecy and paranoia they won’t even see it coming. The name of this new treaty is “the Trans-Pacific Partnership”, and it is being touted as perhaps the most important trade agreement in history. But very few people in this country are talking about it, because none of us are allowed to see it. An article that was just released by Politico detailed the extreme secrecy that is surrounding this trade agreement… theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/ultra-secrecy-surrounds-barack-obamas-new-global-economic-treaty

Support your local Militia! If none in town start one! That is because if the People found out the details in any of the countries there would be legislatures dangeling from lamp posts around the world.

Fast-Tracking America's Economic DestructionMay 3, 2015, By Howard Richman, Raymond Richman and Jesse Richman Last week’s congressional committee votes to give President Obama “Fast Track” negotiating power may go down in economic history as among the most self-destructive ever. The leaders of the Republican Party betrayed their voters, may have destroyed their own political careers, and may have even destroyed America’s economic future. In the 2010 and 2014 elections, American voters gave Republican leaders majorities in first the House and then the Senate so that they could stop President Obama’s agenda. But instead of stopping him, the Republican leadership decided to give him more power. Republican leaders are determined to advance Obama’s fast-track agenda despite deep opposition by their base. Fast Track goes down in flames, but the GOP will find a way to reverse that... So About That TPP Deal.... 2015-05-12 15:45 by Karl Denninger If we offshore those jobs to that nation then we destroy our own manufacturing base and with it the value creation that this nation needs, right here at home, to be prosperous.
We've done far too much of this and it's time for the trend of destroying the future of fully half of our population to stop -- and be reversed.market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=230128

Well, that didn't take long... Senate strikes deal to pass fast-track trade billThe agreement would give Democrats a chance to vote on two of their trade priorities as standalone bills.By Burgess Everett, 5/13/15 11:54 AM EDT Updated 5/13/15 4:18 PM EDT “We have to take some of these votes separately or we kill the underlying legislation,” McConnell said. “It’s reasonable. and I look forward to our colleagues from across the aisle joining with us.” Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who’d engineered Tuesday’s filibuster, thanked McConnell for locking in votes that Democrats had been pining for. www.politico.com/story/2015/05/trade-bill-standoff-senate-117900.html?hp=t2_r

State Department Officials Pass Through Revolving Door, Lobby for Passage of TPPBy Sam Knight, 27 May 2015 9:44 AM While Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is refusing to reveal her position on the massive Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement, other former State Department officials are actively supporting the agreement. They’re just not bothering to reveal their conflicts of interest. More than 30 former State Department officials, envoys, military officers and White House national security advisers who served under both Republican and Democratic presidents signed a letter last month calling the trade agreement “a defining test for American political and economic leadership in the Asia-Pacific region” and urging members of Congress to give President Obama “fast-track” authority to speed its passage. firstlook.org/theintercept/2015/05/27/hillary-clintons-top-state-department-aides-pass-revolving-door-lobby-passage-tpp/

This Is How Little It Cost Goldman To Bribe America's Senators To Fast Track Obama's TPP BillSubmitted by Tyler Durden on 05/30/2015 22:23 -0400 It took just a few days after the stunning defeat of Obama's attempt to fast-track the Trans Pacific Partnership bill in the Senate at the hands of his own Democratic party, before everything returned back to normal and the TPP fast-track was promptly passed. Why? The simple answer: money. Or rather, even more money. Because while the actual contents of the TPP may be highly confidential, and their public dissemination may lead to prison time for the "perpetrator" of such illegal transparency, we now know just how much it cost corporations to bribe the Senate to do the bidding of the "people." In the Supreme Court sense, of course, in which corporations are "people." www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-05-30/how-little-it-cost-bribe-senates-fast-tracking-obamas-tpp-bill

State Dept. 92 Days Past Legal Deadline for Releasing Human Rights Reports on Iran/TPP NationsBy Brittany M. Hughes | May 27, 2015 | 5:09 PM EDT (CNSNews.com) – The State Department is now 92 days past the legally mandated Feb. 25 deadline for releasing its annual Country Reports on Human Rights Practices and has not yet scheduled a date to release them. At no time in at least the last 22 years, going back through President Clinton's first term, has the department waited this long to release the reports. The annual reports, which were first published in 1977, detail human rights abuses in all nations that are members of the United Nations or receive aid from the United States. They include reports on Iran—with which the Obama administration is negotiating a nuclear arms agreement—and the eleven nations involved in negotiations with the administration to establish the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) free-trade zone. Those nations include Vietnam, which the State Department described in last year’s report as a communist regime, and Malaysia, in which the State Department said Sharia law in enforced on the majority Muslim population. cnsnews.com/news/article/brittany-m-hughes/state-dept-92-days-past-legal-deadline-releasing-human-rights-reports

Two Members of Boehner’s Leadership Team Openly Refuse to Admit if They’ve Read Obamatradeby Matthew Boyle, 4 Jun 2015 Two members of House GOP leadership—Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA)and Rules Committee chairman Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX)—refused to admit through spokespersons to Breitbart News whether they have read the text of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Pacific Rim trade deal, but they still support granting President Barack Obama the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) to fast track it. What’s more, Scalise and Sessions—and others GOP conference-wide, including even perhaps Boehner—could be vulnerable to serious primary challenges if they continue forward with Obamatrade. www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/06/04/two-members-of-boehners-leadership-team-openly-refuse-to-admit-if-theyve-read-obamatrade/
