I am very disappointed that Codrea has joined the banquet; although not directly pushing the GOP candidate, like many others on our side, he steers toward 'the best chance to beat a DemoRat'... "All that said, it can’t be denied that Foley is squishy on gun rights." To me that says all that needs to be said.
Is this the same guy that stood beside me at Fort Hunt and Gravelly Point saying "No More"?
If Foley cannot be trusted to defend our most basic and cherished rights, then you MUST NOT cast that vote for him!
But as usual, the two parties (and their supporters) rally around their own shills instead of picking the best candidate to restore what is being destroyed. To stand and vote for a KNOWN Constitutional whore is not the way to restore the Constitution, voting for the lessor of two evils will not dig us out of this mess, standing on principles/morals and values will, even in the face of devastating GOP losses.
The Republicans are the ones that keep putting up dirt-bags with no principles and Constitutional foundation, BUT if you continue to vote for their candidate even though you know they are not on your side in the end game, are you morally any better than they are? Oh that's right... It's for 'the win', even though we all lose in the end.
Connecticut gubernatorial race dividing gun owners to glee of 'progressives'

All that said, it can’t be denied that Foley is squishy on gun rights. None of the groups backing him pretend otherwise, and they’ve made no secret of the fact that their goal is not to pretend they’re electing a champion, but in this case, the objective is solely to unseat Malloy. And while Visconti backers can rally behind the sentiment that a vote for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil, what they cannot do is provide any credible evidence that the outcome will be any different from the one CCDL and Connecticut Carry fear.
