The Legal Issues of the Eric Frein Manhuntby Joshua Prince, Esq., October 3, 2014 1:13 pm The State Police have been searching this area for two weeks. And while we applaud the fact that many recent searches have been conducted pursuant to valid warrants, that fact does not excuse the warrantless searches without probable cause of individual cars and homes. The police do not have the authority to follow the law when it is convenient and to skirt it when inconvenient. Perhaps this hampers the investigation; but if so, this is how our legal system was designed. If we are to protect our rights and dignity as citizens, we must demand that all citizens respect the Constitution. It cannot be forgotten that the Constitution expressly limits the ability of the government to act and that the State Police is the agency of the government tasked with executing that action. blog.princelaw.com/2014/10/03/the-legal-issues-of-the-eric-frein-manhunt/

If I were him, I would be trying to bankrupt PA; deprivation of rights under color of law, false imprisonment, assault and anything else I could pile on... just as LE would try to do. Police repeatedly mistake Pennsylvania man for suspected cop killer Eric FreinPublished October 23, 2014, FoxNews.com James Tully, who doesn't own a car and who walks 5 miles to work every day, has been mistaken for Frein more than 20 times by heavily-armed law enforcement scouring the Pocono mountain region for Frein, according to local news reports. On at least one occasion, Tully, 39, claims he was forced to the ground and had a rifle pointed at his head by an officer as he walked to his job along a heavily wooded road near where Frein is believed to be hiding, according to the Pocono Record. www.foxnews.com/us/2014/10/23/pennsylvania-police-repeatedly-mistake-man-for-alleged-cop-killer-fugitive/?intcmp=latestnews
