Here’s What You Need to Know About the Largest Ebola Outbreak in HistoryJul. 28, 2014 8:33am Liz Klimas The deadly Ebola virus continues to spread in West Africa, claiming a Liberian doctor among its more than 660 victims thus far and infecting two Americans in the country. Here are some of the latest things you should know about the outbreak, which the World Health Organization says is largest in recorded history. www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/07/28/heres-what-you-need-to-know-about-the-largest-ebola-outbreak-in-history/Was Ebola Behind the Black Death?L O N D O N, July 30, By Jen Sterling Controversial new research suggests that contrary to the history books, the "Black Death" that devastated medieval Europe was not the bubonic plague, but rather an Ebola-like virus. History books have long taught the Black Death, which wiped out a quarter of Europe's population in the Middle Ages, was caused by bubonic plague, spread by infected fleas that lived on black rats. But new research in England suggests the killer was actually an Ebola-like virus transmitted directly from person to person. abcnews.go.com/Health/story?id=117310&page=1&singlePage=true

Ebola Patient Almost Reached USWednesday, 30 Jul 2014 04:10 PM Patrick Sawyer, who died after contracting the Ebola virus, was scheduled to fly to Minneapolis in time for an August 16 party celebrating the birthdays of two of his three young daughters, The Daily Beast reports. Health experts say that had Sawyer boarded that flight, there is a possibility the virus could have made its way to the U.S. He was a naturalized U.S. citizen who worked for the Finance Ministry of his native Liberia and returned home to his wife and children in Coon Rapids, Minn., whenever he could. www.newsmax.com/Health-News/ebola-patient-america-oversees/2014/07/30/id/585868/ Still MorePosted on July 30, 2014 UPDATE 2150EDT 30 JUL 2014: westernrifleshooters.wordpress.com/2014/07/30/still-more/

This Is What Is Going To Happen If Ebola Comes To AmericaBy Michael Snyder, on July 30th, 2014 If the worst Ebola outbreak in recorded history reaches the United States, federal law permits "the apprehension and examination of any individual reasonably believed to be infected with a communicable disease". These individuals can be "detained for such time and in such manner as may be reasonably necessary". In other words, the federal government already has the authority to round people up against their will, take them to detention facilities and hold them there for as long as they feel it is "reasonably necessary". In addition, as you will read about below, the federal government has the authority "to separate and restrict the movement of well persons who may have been exposed to a communicable disease to see if they become ill". If you want to look at these laws in the broadest sense, they pretty much give the federal government the power to do almost anything that they want with us in the event of a major pandemic. Of course such a scenario probably would not be called "martial law", but it would probably feel a lot like it. If Ebola comes to America and starts spreading, one of the first things that would happen would be for the CDC to issue "a federal isolation or quarantine order". The following is what the CDC website says about what could happen under such an order... theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/this-is-what-is-going-to-happen-if-ebola-comes-to-america

16 Apocalyptic Quotes From Global Health Officials About This Horrific Ebola EpidemicBy Michael Snyder, on September 3rd, 2014 For people in the western world that have never seen anything like this other than in the movies, it can be difficult to grasp just how horrible this epidemic truly is. In the areas of west Africa where Ebola is spreading, fear and panic are everywhere, food shortages are becoming a serious problem and there have been reports of dead bodies rotting in the streets. People are avoiding hospitals and clinics because of paranoia about the fact that so many health workers have contracted the disease. According to the World Health Organization, more than 240 health workers have gotten the virus so far and more than 120 of them have perished. We have never seen anything like this in any of our lifetimes, and the scary part is that this might only be just the beginning. The following are 16 apocalyptic quotes from global health officials about this horrific Ebola epidemic... theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/16-apocalyptic-quotes-from-global-health-officials-about-this-horrific-ebola-epidemic
