He continues to accept and espouse the socialist DemoRat talking points... Paul Diverges From His Party Over Voter IDBy JEREMY W. PETERSMAY 9, 2014 MEMPHIS — Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky broke Friday with fellow Republicans who have pushed for stricter voting laws as a way to crack down on fraud at the polls, saying that the focus on such measures alienates and insults African-Americans and hurts the party. “Everybody’s gone completely crazy on this voter ID thing,” Mr. Paul said in an interview. “I think it’s wrong for Republicans to go too crazy on this issue because it’s offending people.” www.nytimes.com/2014/05/10/us/politics/paul-says-gop-push-on-voting-laws-is-alienating-blacks.html?hp&_r=1

Truth is a always relevant to your opinion.
While Rand has made some questionable calls I can't see this. The fraud here in NC will continue with all of the new laws and required documents. Behind that table sits the person who look on the rolls, looks at what ever ID is presented and lets that deadman vote anyway. The don't question when the van shows up from the nursing home with the elderly who all vote like the driver tells them so they can go buy sone ice cream before they go bac to the home.
More importantly. Who told us we were allowed to vote.
Who is responsible to check the rolls against the tax base?

Rand Paul: Let's Compromise on Amnestyby Tony Lee 11 Jun 2014 Paul, a potential 2016 contender, reportedly said that "amnesty is a word that’s trapped us," and, according to CNN, emphasized, "If you want immigration reform, there has to be openness to compromise." Earlier on Wednesday, talk radio host Rush Limbaugh declared that when politicians in Washington say "immigration reform" what they really mean is "amnesty." “I say everywhere I go, 'I am for immigration reform,'” Paul said, according to the Wall Street Journal. www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/06/11/Rand-Paul-Let-s-Compromise-on-Amnesty

So whom are we supposed to believe? The Washington Times (a fairly reputable paper) or Grover Norquist (a Amnesty Groupie). If Rand Paul was completly clear and honest on the issue, these attacks would not still be circulating, he knows the left uses the term 'Immigration Reform' as code for Amnesty yet he continues to use it... Why? Brian Darling, a spokesman for Paul, told WND the Times story mischaracterized Paul’s position.Jerome R. Corsi, Jun 12 2014 “He didn’t go on any call to advocate for the passage of anything,” Darling said. “He was just there to talk about his views on the issue, which he’s talked about a million times before.” WND is seeking comment from the Washington Times. A column by Paul on immigration was published by Breitbart News Thursday morning. Paul writes that he’s “for immigration reform because I am against allowing 12 million more illegal immigrants into our country.” “If we do nothing, 12 million more illegal immigrants will come. We must be in favor of reform — smart reform that starts with border security,” he says. Then he states emphatically: “Characterizing that position as ‘amnesty’ is simply untrue.” Paul says the status quo “is a lawless border.” www.wnd.com/2014/06/rand-paul-denies-hes-pro-amnesty/

Gloves Are Off With Rand Paul and His “Immigration Reform” Freak Fest. Where Are This Man’s Priorities?by Isabel Matos | June 14, 2014 · 10:20 pm Rand Paul is small and timid. His response is as ridiculous and as out of touch as Thad Cochran who said he did not know what happened on Tuesday when asked. It’s as if none of this was even happening to Paul. He is so fixated on his verbiage and positions taken, that he has all but forgotten to connect at all. It’s hard to keep up with all the neck breaking flip flops Paul has made. Before the Virginia Primary he had said that any candidate endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce was not presidential material. Excuse my “French-American”, WTF? He said: thespeechatimeforchoosing.wordpress.com/2014/06/14/gloves-are-off-with-rand-paul-and-his-immigration-reform-freak-fest-where-are-this-mans-priorities/

Rand will keep shape shifting, trying to morph into the "perfect" presidential candidate because he is a political animal unlike his father. Like him or not Ron Paul stood his ground for the most part on his libertarian views. In my opinion Rand would be better off to stick to his Libertarian roots and lose than to continue down the path he is on. Where he legitimately has evolved and changed his view on a subject then he should just admit and explain how that change evolved. To just be snappy with reporters who ask about the waffling and be in denial is stupid. They can easily access video clips from his past.

Man only has those freedoms he is willing to defend to the death!
Rand, like many other politicians feels his place in congress is the only way he can save this nation. He then elects the road of dark shadows unthinking that his new friends are saving his indiscretions for a later date. It is mot the men that go bad, it is the system they work in that makes them bad. The system is what we the people allow to cause this by voting as we are told and not demanding visual evidence of results. Rand, remembers his father's defeat in Tampa by the system.
